We pick you up in your hotel located in Cusco and travel for 3 hours to the trailhead, after breakfast, we hike for 2 hours to Humantay Lake at 4200mts, and then lunch, then we go for two more hours uphill to the basecamp at 4000 meters

SalkantayPampa -Hayrajpunku – Collpapampa
Wake up with a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy breakfast with the mountains, then hike up to Salkantay pass at 4630mts for 3 hours and two more down to lunch. The second part is a 3 hour downhill until the 2nd campsite at 2800mts.

Collpapampa – Hidroelectica- Aguas Calientes
Wake up in your tent, breakfast, and start hiking along the cloud forest for 4 hours visiting local villages, coffee farms, and prepare a special Pachamanca Barbecue. After lunch, we will hike for 3-hrs from Hidroelectica to Aguas Calientes to spend the night in a hotel.

Machu Picchu (Beat the crowds!)
After breakfast, we take the early buses up to Machu Picchu for the sunrise, visit the Sungate, or Inca Bridge, and then we explore Machu Picchu with your guide. Once you finish, you will take the Panoramic train and bus back to your hotel in Cusco

This was a great experience- awesome guides who looked after every detail and very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and history of the trail. Also, looked after the slower people in the group. Food and hotel were great as well. Highly recommend!

This tour was great as we can see the Machu Picchu twice at 2 different time of the day! Our guide, Juan de Dios, was really nice and provided us a lot of information. The whole trip was an unforgettable experience, everything was well organised.

We had tremendous support from Rosmel in helping us planning our b-spoke trip and it certainly did not disappoint. The Inca Trail was amazing, led by the awesome Abelardo who pushed us all along and flipped between English and Spanish to ensure all members of the group were included. The food far, far surpassed our expectations and the Porters did a great job also. This was a once in a lifetime trip and I would not hesitate to recommend the Trexperience team. Thank you!
