This tour takes you 30 minutes away from La Antigua Guatemala to the colorful community of Santa María de Jesús. As soon as you enter the community you will start to see Mayan families in their daily life activities. Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday it’s market day in town, many local families gather at the market selling and buying all kinds of products. After walking at the market and meeting some local families, we will admire the murals made by Guatemalan artist. Later during the morning, we will continue to another 2 communities to meet great local artisans, sharing with us their family history and the importance of their art.
