Meet Your Trip Leader

Hello travelers, my name is Ludovica, but you can call me Ludo. I was born and raised in Sicily. Found in the southwest part of the Island, Modica is my hometown and where I decided to live after experiencing life abroad for a while. My interest in other cultures drove me to study languages and foreign literature before finally getting my tour leader license in 2021. I love welcoming visitors into Sicilian culture and showing them authentic places and experiences.

This part of Italy carries on traditions, controversies and stereotypes around the world, and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to show you around! In addition to my passion for travel, I am what you would call a “foodie”. I love being transported into new worlds through a good movie and all forms of art and music. I also love reading and listening to the stories that people wish to share with me and I cannot wait to hear yours!

In my free time you can catch me enjoying la dolce vita with my friends and family. To me, there’s nothing as important as our loved ones.

Creative Edge Travel’s small group tours are sold as shared rooms or single rooms. This means

you will either share your room with one other participant or have a private room just for you,

which has an additional cost. In order to reserve a private room, you should select Single Room

at checkout. You should be aware that hotel room sizes, standard practices, and facilities can

vary in each destination and can be different from standards in the United States or your home

country. For example, variations could include differences in bed sizes, proximity of the beds to

one another, and amenities such as air conditioning. CET hopes that you can enthusiastically

embrace any differences you come across with the understanding that variations from culture to

culture is what makes travel so fun and interesting.

If opting to share a room, you acknowledge that while we make our best effort to match you with

a compatible roommate, we cannot guarantee that you will get along. If you're a light sleeper,

get easily irritated, or know that you are someone who is much happier with your own space,

sharing a room may not be the best decision for getting the most out of this experience. In the

same way, if people have told you that you snore or you have health conditions that could be

disruptive to others, we ask you to do the right thing and get a private room out of respect for

others.

If you've made an honest effort but you absolutely can't find your groove with your roommate to

the point that you really need to separate, your trip leader will make their best effort to move

things around, or, try to get you a private room for an additional cost.

If the number of solo travelers and rooms doesn't allow CET to match you with a roommate,

your room will become a single room and additional charges may apply.

If you don't see availability for the Room type you need, please contact sierra@CreativeEdgeTravel.com as we may be able to open another spot for you.

Creative Edge Travel is about slowing down to connect with what makes Italy Italy— its people. We know from experience that what you'll remember most are the interesting locals you meet on your adventure. That's why we couple unique activities with opportunities to connect with locals in a meaningful way. We go beyond the typical tourist sites to off-the-beaten-path villages and farms where our friends and artisans are waiting to share their way of life with you!

Creative Edge Travel curates a very unique trip. Avoiding the tourist traps she takes you to small towns and villages creating exceptional interaction with the local people. We were accommodated by small local B&Bs with a love for hosting visitors. We were greeted with enthusiasm and love. We never felt like tourists, old friends. Every host went out of their way to create an atmosphere of comfort and excellence. If you are a seasoned traveler or your first time traveling, Creative Edge Travel will introduce and show you places you would never experience without her experience and love of Italy. I cannot recommend this company enough.

The absolute best vacation tour, not just sightseeing but full on culture immersion and getting to know the people of Italy. A must do tour for anyone.

Sierra is a great organizer. The outings were well planned. We met very interesting people. The cooking class was so interesting! Her schedule gave us some time to rest and visit on our own. Of course the group blended together very well. I strongly recommend her trips !

5 stars don't begin to describe the amazing 8 days I had with Sierra in Tuscany. It was my second trip to Tuscany and I thought I knew how wonderful it would be to soak up Tuscan culture again. NO, Sierra's trips are not like any I have ever experienced. The trip was full of love, joy, and appreciation. There were no lines or crowds so that one couldn't appreciate anything. Music, wine, food, laughter, learning, new friendships, moments to reflect, these are what Sierra gave me. Thank you Sierra Judy Olitsky

This was such a wonderful experience. We were able to see Florence in a much different way. Meeting the artisans, seeing the often missed historical aspects of this amazing city, and also spending time with the locals. Thank you Sierra for this opportunity.
