Ready to explore the Spirits of Scotland for Halloween? On this unique journey we will dine at a famous haunted pub, tour the streets of Edinburgh by lantern at night, see if we can catch sight of fairies on the Isle of Skye, hear tales of ghosts, witches, and fairies as we walk the streets of Inverness, visit castles, and more! You'll also have the opportunity to be in Edinburgh for Halloween to experience the Samhuinn Fire Festival with locals! As a bonus this time of year, you'll experience the Trossachs and Cairngorms as the autumn leaves are changing.

Edinburgh to Ft. William
Today we will meet our guide and will begin our adventure through the Scottish landscapes. First we will venture to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. As we leave the Trossachs area we will stop for a late lunch at the famous Drovers Inn, one of Scotland’s Most Haunted Pubs. After enjoying a hearty Scottish meal we will stop to see the beautiful Falls of Falloch surrounded by autumn’s colorful beauty. On our way to our accommodations for the night, we will drive through the famous Glencoe. Overnight: Ft. William

Ft. William to the Isle of Skye
Leaving Ft. William we head to Mallaig to take the mid-morning ferry over to Skye where we will stay for the next two nights. Once on Skye, we will visit otherworldly landscapes and Dunscaith Castle Ruins. Overnight: Skye

Isle of Skye to Inverness
Leaving the magical Isle of Skye, we will stop at Eilean Donan Castle. After our visit at the castle we will drive through Ratagan Pass on our way to Dun Troddon Broch. Our afternoon will conclude with a visit to the shores of Loch Ness. Our evening will conclude with a ghost tour of Inverness. Overnight: Inverness

Inverness to Pitlochery
Today we will be visiting Wardlaw Mausoleum, Clava Cairns a 4,000 year old burial cairn, and the Clootie Well. We will enjoy lunch in Inverness with down time in the early afternoon for you to explore the city of Inverness. Our late afternoon will include a beautiful drive south by the Cairngorms National Forest stopping at Dalwhinnie Distillery before arriving in the Victorian town of Pitlochery. Overnight: Pitlochery

As we continue south this morning, we will visit Stirling Castle. On our way back to Edinburgh in the afternoon we will stop by the famous Kelpies and other surprise spots our guide has in store for us. Today we will be walking through the city exploring connections to St. Margaret and St. Triduana. We will visit Edinburgh Castle in the morning and St. Margaret’s Chapel before lunch on the Royal Mile. After lunch we will walk St. Margaret’s Loch trail and see St. Margaret’s Well as we make our way to St. Triduana’s Chapel and Holy Well. We have just completed a wonderful and exciting nine-day private tour provided by Traveling Soul Tours.
