MAXIMUM IMPACT TRAVEL was created to foster international and domestic travel experiences. Founded by entrepreneur, playwright, author and philanthropist: Jay Cameron. Realizing that most of his life had been consumed by working domestically, a trip to Ghana changed his perspective. His experience transformed the way he saw traveling. As a result, he set out to encourage others to see the world through their own eyes, not only through the eyes of the media. You are invited to join Jay and his team on their adventures around the globe!

This was an excellent trip - very well planned and organized, with each day conducted as expected. Historical information, sightseeing, shopping, and the atmosphere of Ghana were experienced during this tour. We were able to try excellent foods in a variety of restaurants. The guides were excellent, and provided extensive narratives about the sites we visited, answering questions while accommodating the individual needs of our party. Thank you, Rosanne Smith

I had a wonderful time on this trip to Accra Ghana. It was the most enjoyable trip I have been on. (It's the truth) Seeing all your brother's and sister's look like you. If you ever get a chance you go to Africa, choose whatever country you want to go to. Maximum Impact Travel you can't go wrong. I'm 82 yrs old and it was another person (lady) she also was also 82 yrs old. We were the oldest on this trip 10/28 -11/05/2024. Thank Maximum Impact Travel Nicholas Williams

I enjoyed the places we visited and all the history Morris the tour guide shared with us. He is very knowledgeable , made the trip great with his kindness and care of us. I wish he would have been assigned as the guide for the entire tour. I appreciate that all the restaurants serve food I recognize and enjoyed as well as food of their country. It was a good experience.

I had the best time of my life in Ghana! I’ll never forget that right after being welcomed with ‘akwaaba,’ we were told, ‘This is your home; walk as it is yours as soon as your feet hit the ground.’ From that moment, I felt an incredible sense of belonging. It was amazing to look around, as far as the eye could see, and see only people who looked like me—it truly touched my heart. Every local I encountered was so welcoming and made me feel like they genuinely wanted me there. The tour company staff was exceptional—they were knowledgeable about every site, tour, dish, and cultural detail, and they went above and beyond to make the entire trip unforgettable. I have made lifetime connections and look forward to returning to Ghana and booking another tour with this amazing company!

This trip was memorable to say the least! The tour guides were knowledgeable and I learned a lot about the places we visited. The accommodations were good at the primary hotel, although the hotel in Kumasi was a little outdated and could use some repair. The variety of activities kept us busy - I enjoyed interacting with the locals on several occasions. Our journey from the ancestral river to the dungeons was indescribable, giving me a newfound gratitude for my ancestors who endured the horror of slavery. The tour guides were excellent with a wealth of knowledge to take back to family and friends at home. Lastly, the Maximum Impact team was very helpful throughout the trip and always made sure we were comfortable. Selma and George are very special! Medasi!

I had the absolute privilege of joining the Gateway Experience Ghana, July 2022. There's only one word to describe it - TRANSFORMATIVE. Jay has done the work and created a truly phenomenal travel experience. Because of his efforts, I connected with the ancestors, with Ghanaians, with Africans and with myself. I fell in love with Ghana and am now planning to move there. Jay and his local team - the incomparable Morris and the loyal Ernest - took care of every detail and provided a trip that was informative, enjoyable and safe. I don't think I could have that experience with any other tour operator. From now on, I will only travel with Jay and Maximum Impact when I visit any place in Africa. In fact, my group and I are planning to travel together again to Tanzania next year. It's just that deep. If you love Black people and Blackness, then love yourself by booking a trip with Maximum Impact!

Customer service exceptional! What a pleasure to work with Maximum Impact Travel for this trip. They are thorough and very attentive as there are several steps to traveling to Ghana; the entire Maximum Impact team made the booking process seamless with EASY-to-follow instructions. All questions I had were answered promptly and professionally. And, oh my goodness, once you get to Ghana, you will be warmly received by the Maximum Impact team and treated like a V.I.P. Accommodations are clean and super-comfortable and offer all amenities. Don’t hesitate booking the trip if you’re traveling solo as I was. It’s a trip of a lifetime where you will meet wonderful traveling companions, tour the country with knowledgeable guides and wish that the trip was longer. I LOVED IT! A powerful and stirring cultural tour that also includes fun-loving activities. Outstanding job by Maximum Impact. I’m already planning my next tour with you.
