The BackStory - The Originals
The first Sisterhood and Chocolate Retreat for Jewish Women was July 2024. Gisele Pintchuck and Amy Weinberger imagined a moment when girlfriends that they each knew and admired met each other's girlfriends. That is how the magic was born. The originals members of last year's wildly successful and transformative week are as follows:

Our connections to each other grew during our week together at Flō. We are still connected via WhatsApp, celebrations for each other, support during difficult transitions, special meals, and the exchange of sisterhood. Available Packages
Our Cacao and Riverwalk casitas are spacious, inviting, and filled with natural light. They include private balconies situated at the edge of the jungle and are designed for rest, relaxation, and comfort. Each room features one luxurious queen-sized bamboo bed with plush pillows and bamboo soft linens, perfect for a restful night's sleep. Amenities include WIFI, adjustable air conditioning and screened windows, a sliding glass entrance, a mini fridge, bath and beach towels. These casitas have a private en-suite bathroom with a spacious shower, hot water, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. This is the perfect option for a solo traveler looking for privacy and comfort during a stay at Flō.
Cacao & Riverwalk casitas can also be shared. They are designed for rest, relaxation, and comfort. There are two sets of adjoining shared rooms at Flō. In between the adjoining rooms are the well-maintained, clean, and spacious shared bathrooms. Amenities include WIFI, adjustable air conditioning and screened windows, a mini fridge, bath and beach towels, hot water, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The rooms offer a cozy and inviting atmosphere for 2 guests each to relax and unwind. The rooms feature multiple beds with plush bedding, ample storage space, and large windows that let in natural light. An advantage to the main house is it is on the second floor above the shared dining, living, and kitchen spaces, and the deck wraps-around providing a spectacular view of Flō.

Quick Backstory about Your HOSTS!
Amy & Dana met when they were two years old (1966) at Peter Rabbit School in Portsmouth, Virginia and have been besties ever since. They have supported each other over the years through both good and challenging times. As they have just entered into their 60s, they have discovered their authentic selves. Amy and Dana are the yin and yang to each other's spirit and being. They invite you to experience the transformative and restorative properties of the ocean, the jungle, the waterfalls, the natural wildlife and flowers of Costa Rica. They are so excited to share this experience with you.
P.S. - Dana is an alum of the first Sisterhood & Chocolate Retreat 2024 and loved it so much that she stepped up as co-host for the 2025 Retreat. Whoohoo!!!
Our First Meal Together @ Flō
Breaking bread together for the first meal is so delightful. Karen Flores, our resident chef and Jhonder Padilla, our property manager/sous chef treat us to Flō’s signature local fruit mocktails that kickoff our first taste of the Costa Rica. Then we fill our plates with locally sourced foods and join together at our community table and joyful conversations.
