This is your dynamic Sisterhood & Chocolate invitation from Amy Falk Weinberger, co-owner of Flō Retreat Center, along with co-host, colleague, and dear friend, Lorrie A. Brinson, and in collaboration with Dawn Jeffries and Alecia Cornelius, to join us for an all inclusive jungle retreat either as a solo traveler or with your girlfriend(s).  For 8-days/7-nights we gather together as sacred women of color to connect through the natural world, food, unity and the "pure vida" philosophy (gratitude, simplicity, and peace) of Costa Rica. 

Together we elevate the collective power of positivity and nature. This retreat is an opportunity to offer you the permission to live richly and to experience the extraordinary magic of the jungle. It is an investment in yourself.

Flō is located in the Puntarenas Province of Costa Rica where fresh fruits & vegetables abound. All meals are included in your experience whether prepared lovingly at Flo or enjoyed in Uvita at  favorite local restaurants.  In addition, enjoy local chocolate that is incorporated  into our meals, the chocolate tasting event, and  our traditional cacao tasting ceremony. Our nightly mocktails feature local fresh fruits. 

Flō Retreat Center is an alcohol and drug-free space.

Experience coffee and a local lunch at Café Don Emilio's Coffee farm with Deiner and his family. Learn about the transformation of cacao to chocolate in Playa Hermosa with Ronald. Create and learn the art of jewelry making with Dey. Discover the history of masks from the Boruka Indian Tribe. Mix and make your own scent from Botánica in Ojochal. Gather for local cooking workshops in our Flō kitchen.  Enjoy the local Farmer’s Market. 

Living your best day to us @ Flō means living in good health with nutritious, delicious local food,  purposeful movement practices like yoga, stretching, dancing, and weights, stillness with meditation and rest, and adventure with waterfall hikes, a Whale's Tail beach walk, a photo shoot, etc. We create time and space for connection, listening, breathing, and elevating each other. 

*Please note that the waterfalls on our property are considered medium in difficulty. If you experience knee and/or hip issues, these hikes are not recommended.
