About this trip

We offer a private transportation service from San Jose to/From Santa Teresa, Puntarenas, designed to provide comfort and safety on your journey


Departure from San Jose: The service starts at your specified location in San Jose, where our private driver will pick you up in a comfortable and safe vehicle.


Transfer in Puntarenas: During the journey, a transfer will be made at the port of Puntarenas to board the ferry to Paquera. Our driver will escort you to the port and ensure that all details are covered before boarding.


Puntarenas - Paquera Ferry: The cost of the ferry will be covered by the passengers and is not included in the shuttle service. Once in Paquera, our driver will be waiting for you to continue the journey to Santa Teresa.


Final Destination: Santa Teresa: After the ferry crossing, the trip will continue to its final destination in Santa Teresa, Puntarenas. The tour takes place in air-conditioned vehicles with all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant experience.

If you don`t want to drive yourself. We booked GTC transportation from Denmark, for our travel round in Costa Rica. We was picked up in the airport right on time ( even after 2 days delay). And the really Nice driver, took us on a roundtour. We stayed 9 different places, and every time we chanced hotel, the driver where there, and ready to go. Always with could water in the car. The driver was Nice to stop for pictures, and other stops. The Office where very helpfull, if any question. Before every trip, the Office was on whats app to tell us what time the driver would be there. We Thank the company for giving us such a good and safe experience. We Will never hesitate to use this compagny again.

Boris was a very reliable driver an each of our 4 days. Van was comfortable for the 5 of us. Pillows and blankets and water bottles on each seat were appreciated. GTC was very responsive to all our questions and requests.
