On this 6 km moderately difficult 3 hr experience, we’ll explore the wild and rugged lower slopes of the Dunkerron Mountain as we make our way to Coomanassig waterfall and Eagles Lake. This walk combines stone paths and unmarked trails across open moorland.
We’ll walk close to the waterfall and cliff walls by skirting around the edge of the dark water lake. Coomanassig waterfall is 130 metres tall and the cliffs themselves are 250 metres tall. We’ll spend about time here (weather depending) for photos and to enjoy any snacks/refreshment you bring.
Waterproof and comfortable shoes, waterproof jacket & over trousers and small day pack.
You should also have a hat and when it's cool' pack gloves and extra thin warm layers.
Bring enough water & snacks to keep you fueled for four hours.
We can supply walking poles. You may also wish to bring a personal first aid kit and sunscreen / insect repellent.
Scheduled walking experiences will proceed once two people have booked. Private experiences are subject to minimum number of 3 or the equivalent in charges. Full payment required at booking: This secures your spot and helps with planning.

This walk is 6 km in length and will take 2.5-3hrs hrs. This walk is classed as moderate difficulty and is mostly off-trail.
Everyone who loves to leave the trail behind and immerse themselves in wild nature. The ground can be soft and wet, so boots are essantial. What’s more, our walks are ideal for couples, groups and single guests.
