The cow elk hunt is the advanced offering for Ancestral hunting school that will allow students to hunt a cow elk on private property in northern Colorado with a hunting guide. This is an intimate opportunity that will require physical as well as mental preparation. Each weeks hunt will be just 2 hunters and will have a physical goal (calories burned), mental goal (minutes in meditation/yoga) as well as firearms goal (score at 100, 200 and 300 yards) that combined will offer the victor the opportunity to be the first shooter the first day or to be the second shooter. After a plethora of Elk hunting experiences we have recognized that physical, mental and firearms training are essential to a successful Elk hunt. All meat will be split evenly between the 2 hunters unless otherwise agreed upon. We will meet online for several months prior to the hunt to discuss tactics, terrain and goals.
