This was a significantly life enhancing event! Despite always having an interest in hunting, I wasn’t born into a hunting family or have access to any real mentorship. So when a friend of mine mentioned AHS, I jumped at the chance! The curriculum was interesting and easy to understand. The step by step guidance for licensing made it a breeze to meet all of the legal requirements. The instructors and guides were professional, knowledgeable and provided excellent mentorship in all things hunt and harvest related. Being able to apply the knowledge and skills during the actual hunt will forever enhance my confidence to go into the field on my own in the future! As a result of my experience with AHS, I feel significantly more grounded and in sync with the ecosystem and environment that surrounds me! I’m very greatful!

I really can't say enough about how great this experience was for me. I have no previous hunting experience and though I am a long way from being proficient, I now have the confidence to continue on the journey. From planning, prepping and acquiring the gear it takes, to hunting strategies for a variety of big game animals, to taking and ethical shot, field dressing and harvesting a sacred bounty. This program challenged me in ways I did not expect. I am grateful for everything I have learned and recommend this program to any and all experience levels. Ken, the instructor is first class all the way, with attention on every detail so that the other students and myself could clear our minds and focus on the task at hand. The guides were money with how they set the table for us, teaching us every step of the way. There was nothing easy about the experience, which made my successful finish that much more rewarding. Most importantly the program taught me a great deal about myself. I humbled to have finished and more interested than ever in being able to harvest big game to share with my family and community.
