We will begin our day with a guided tour of this magnificent shrine. Open to one and all, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir was inaugurated in August of 2007 after only 17 months of construction time utilizing 1.3 Million volunteer hours. The Mandir is comprised of 3 types of stone (Turkish Limestone, Italian marble, and Indian pink sandstone). More than 34,000 individual pieces were carved by hand in India, shipped to the USA and assembled in Lilburn like a giant 3-D puzzle. IT's a must see in the small town of Lilburn, GA.(Shoes are NOT allowed in the Shrine so please bring socks)!

Following the BAPS Shrine tour we will head immediately to Atlanta for a behind-the-scenes tour of one of the most amazing professional sports stadiums in the world.  The Mercedes Benz Stadium, the world's first Platinum LEED Certified Stadium, is home to both the Atlanta Falcons and The Atlanta United professional soccer team.  This tour will take us behind the scenes to see areas of the stadium that cannot be accessed on game day.  

 Our trip will include round trip transportation on late model motorcoaches 

Docent led tour of the BAPS Mandir Shrine in Lilburn, GA

Our tour of Mercedes Benz stadium will include places not open to the public on gameday. We will see the technological innovation of the stadium & learn how it became the 1st LEED Platinum Stadium 

Following our tour, we will travel to Ponce City Market for a late lunch.  This historic Sears building has been converted into a great public space with eateries, shopping, and condos.  Here, you will have time on your own for lunch.  Select from over 20 various eateries and restaurants, and find something for any palate!
