After making our way through customs and immigration we will be met and transferred to your accommodation in the fashionable Waterfront neighborhood in Cape Town.

Enjoy an afternoon at leisure before we meet back together for a dinner together at a local restaurant.

This morning after breakfast at the hotel, we will meet our private transfer and guide and head out for a half day tour of some of the best highlights Cape Town has to offer. 

Without a doubt it is Table Mountain that makes Cape Town the unique city it is. Rising up over 1000m above sea level, it is the icon that makes Cape Town instantly recognizable. It is a symbol, a playground, a spiritual retreat and a big draw card for tourists. So intertwined with the identity of Cape Town is Table Mountain that a visit to the city isn’t complete without having walked or taken the cable car to the top.

The Company Gardens is a treed haven in the middle of the city and is surrounded by museums and fascinating buildings - St Georges Cathedral, the Salve Museum, The National Art Gallery and the Jewish Museum to mention a few.

Bo-Kaap is a neighbourhood in Cape Town set on the slopes of Signal Hill and was originally established by members of the Cape Malay community who were brought to Cape Town during the 18th century as slaves. Bo-Kaap is known for its brightly coloured homes, beautiful mosques and vibrant culture. It is a popular tourist attraction and one of the most photographed areas in Cape Town. Visitors can explore the area on foot or take a guided tour to learn about its history and culture. Bo-Kaap is also home to many restaurants, cafes and shops offering traditional cuisine and handmade crafts from local artisans.

Situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain in the heart of Cape Town's working harbour, the V&A Waterfront has become South Africa's most visited destination. Set against a backdrop of magnificent sea and mountain views, exciting shopping and entertainment venues are intermingled with imaginative office locations, world-class hotels and luxury apartments. The Waterfront is the heart of the tourist industry in Cape Town.

This afternoon and evening we will have some leisure time to explore Cape Town and have lunch and dinner at leisure.

After enjoying breakfast we will set off for a full day of sightseeing focused on the magnificent Cape Peninsula! 

Camps Bay is a wealthy coastal suburb located just ten minutes from the city bowl. Set on the slopes of Table Mountain, it overlooks a series of beautiful sandy bays and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Camps Bay is home to Cape Town’s most glamorous beach.

Hout Bay’s active harbor serves a variety of fishing boats, charter boats and yachts. It is also the departure point for boat trips to the nearby Seal Island, home to a colony of around 6 000 Cape Fur Seals. The bustling port area also has a well-known seafood restaurant and a shop selling fresh fish.

Chapman’s Peak Drive winds its way between Noordhoek and Hout Bay. Situated on the Atlantic Coast, at the south-western tip of South Africa, it is one of the most spectacular marine drives anywhere in the world. The 9km route, with its 114 curves, skirts the rocky coastline of Chapman's Peak. The drive offers stunning 180° views with many areas along the route where you can stop and take in the scenery or sit down for a relaxing picnic.

Cape Point Nature Reserve is a breathtaking coastal sanctuary located at the southwestern tip of the Cape Peninsula. Offering awe-inspiring vistas of rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, and diverse flora and fauna, it is ideal for nature lovers to explore scenic hiking trails and spot wildlife.

Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town is ideal for kids as immense boulders shelter the cove from currents and large waves - but please always take care. It is a rare pleasure to swim with the penguins but don't touch or feed them. They might look cute and cuddly but their beaks are as sharp as razors and if they feel threatened they have no qualms about nipping the odd finger or nose.

Set on the scenic coast of False Bay, Kalk Bay is a charming seaside village adorned with a fisherman's harbour and a vibrant Main Road lined with quaint shops that offer unique treasures and local crafts. The village boasts a diverse culinary scene, with its restaurants serving delectable seafood dishes and other culinary delights. Overlooking the bay, visitors can enjoy breathtaking sea views and explore the mysterious Boomslang Caves, adding an adventurous touch to this picturesque coastal gem.

This evening we will have some leisure time to explore Cape Town and have dinner at leisure.

After enjoying breakfast we will set off for a full day trip to South Africa’s world famous Winelands! 

A blend of historical architecture, student life, epicurean delights and oak-lined avenues, Stellenbosch is a picturesque university town surrounded by mountains and vineyards. A walking tour of the town centre allows visitors to take in its beautifully preserved Cape Dutch and Victorian architecture, as well as the many enticing art galleries, craft shops, clothing boutiques and gift stores, while foodies may prefer indulging in mouth-watering cuisine and fine wines at one of the chic restaurants or buzzing bistros. Stellenbosch is also the ideal base from which to explore the renowned local wine route, boasting a high proportion of the country’s leading wine estates.

After our walking tour of Stellenbosch we will head to the beautiful town of Franschhoek. This quaint wine farming town has a quiet but buzzing main road which is, in most years, home to 2 or 3 of the country's top 10 restaurants! 

A mere one hour's drive from Cape Town lie the valleys and mountains which have become synonymous with some of the world's finest wines. Spectacular mountain scenery, fine hotels and guest houses, 300 years of wine making history and many of the country’s top restaurants combine to make the Cape Winelands into a much desired destination. This is the centre of South Africa’s award winning wine industry and places of interest include Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and numerous award winning wine estates. 

After a full day of wining and dining we will be transferred back to our accommodations in Cape town for and evening and dinner at leisure.

After enjoying breakfast we will head out to the picturesque town of Hermanus! 

Built along the beautiful shores and cliffs of Walker Bay, Hermanus has grown from a small seaside resort town to become possibly the best-known place for whale watching in the world. Today, this busy town is more than just a popular holiday destination and offers visitors all kinds of activities, both energetic and relaxing.

Today we will have two optional tours for you to choose from. See below. 

Option One: Whale Watching Excursion

Upon arrival we will board your catamaran for an incredible whale watching tour. Hermanus known as one of the best whale watching locations in the world! Some of the animals we may see on this tour are the Southern Right, Humpback, and Bryde’s whales. As well as dolphins, Seals, and a large variety of marine birds including the African penguin. This tour has been specially designed with the motto “Observing, not disturbing” allowing us to get an up close look at these incredible whales while not disturbing their natural habitat. 

Option Two: Shark Diving 

For the thrill seeker! We will head to Kleinbaai, a small harbor town, part of Gansbaai in the Western Cape of South Africa. This area is known as a hotspot for different shark species like Copper Sharks, Broadnose Sevengill Sharks and Great White Sharks. The best place in the world to see and dive with these iconic creatures in their natural environment.

The marine biologists and expert crew members will not only show you where these mysterious and misunderstood predators hunt and hide, but they will also explain to you how and where they feed, breed and breach.

The trip includes an educational briefing, breakfast or lunch; refreshments on board; warm soup and bread on return; and a free visit to the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary where guests can learn more about their conservation efforts in the area.

After enjoying our optional activities we will be transferred back to Cape Town for an evening and dinner at leisure.

This morning after checking our of our accommodations our private transfer will take us to the Cape Town Airport where we will board our connection flight to Namibia!
