Join Kat & Katie for a yoga + art retreat in the South of France! You’ll play with practices that spark joy, encourage the exploration of you and help you ground into the stunning scenery that surrounds us. Enjoy daily yoga and art classes to feed your body, creativity and spirit!
Our stay will include 6 nights at Amassa Retreat Center, a beautiful secluded rural hamlet in South West France, renovated and designed for wellness, retreats, workshops, and gatherings.
Situated in Gascony, often referred to as the Tuscany of France, Amassa sits in sixteen acres of woods, rewilded meadows and flowering gardens, with stunning views over rolling countryside, hilltop villages and distant views to the horizon. The houses have been restored preserving their unique character and old French charm, blended with modern comforts and stylishly curated with locally sourced vintage finds. There is plenty of space to slow down, be curious, connect to nature, and play.
There are two outdoor swimming pools with stunning views over the rolling countryside, sun loungers, a wood burning sauna, a trampoline, ping pong, bicycles, hammocks, and board games … as well as plenty of nooks and crannies for people to find a corner for group gatherings or more solitary moments with a book, sketch pad or just yourself.
Come alone, with a buddy, or meet a new best friend. Retreats are a place for you to drop in, explore you, connect with community, slow down and gain new perspectives.
The Art Of Us Retreating!!! Start your days with a yoga practice inside the gorgeous old barn studio with underfloor heating and all the props you desire. Morning practice will be a faster paced experience tailored to what we need each day. Enjoy a delicious private chef prepared brunch after class before dropping into YOU during free time.
Spend mid-day exploring France, enjoy one of two outdoor swimming pools, venture out to the local market, curl up with a book, stroll through meadows and countryside, or get a massage. Slow down and enjoy everything this beautiful space has to offer.
We meet again in the late afternoon to drop into our creativity with an art class! No experience necessary - you'll be guided to explore blind contour drawing, watercolor and more!
Our art class will be followed by a community dinner. Celebrating each evening with a sustainable and locally sourced delicious menu, (optional) world class wine and dinner conversation.
Post dinner, grab a board game, enjoy star gazing, or take a late night dip!
