We really enjoyed our tour of Comuna 13 with Alejandro! He was knowledgeable and we felt like we were touring with a local from the community who knew its history and people. My wife and I booked the this tour and let me tell you.....it was nothing short of amazing! There isn't a nicer, safer, and more kind tour guide than Andres. Born and raised in Medellin, he has an unmeasurable amount of knowledge about the local area and Colombia in general. We learned first-hand how coffee beans are picked, graded, sorted, and shipped to the local co-op for grading and additional packaging. You will taste and learn what makes the finest coffee in the world. To put things into perspective, I think that coffee beans are more scrutinized than grapes are for fine wine. This is a private tour....just you and Andres. We will absolutely book another tour in the future. It will be Guatape or the Medellin tour.

Another great trip with land venture. Viewing coffee making at a small farm not at all touristy. Visited Concordia which was lovely. Great guide in Andres.
