Ubud is the spiritual centre of Bali. This magical place embraces traditional Balinese culture. You will experience the grace of daily offerings, exquisite cuisine and the warmth and gentleness of the Balinese people.
We will be staying at The Shala Bali, a sanctuary created to reconnect with our essence and realign with nature. This idyllic natural environment is sure to inspire harmony between Body, Mind, Spirit and Earth, the fundamental ingredients to living a joyful and healthful life.

Yoga Soul Sisters is founded on a friendship of 30 years and a passion for yoga, qigong, good health, travel and fun. We offer wellness retreats where you can relax, nourish and rejuvenate. Our classes and workshops will inspire you to reconnect, heal and develop a sense of well being.

Sue Pope
Sue is a Yin specialist with over 500 hours of Yin training. This still, quiet and meditative practice is open to everybody regardless of age, body shape or level of fitness. It allows us to slow down, and be totally present which brings balance & harmony to the body & mind.
” I fell in love with Yin Yoga after my first class… I felt like I was home. This practice has completely changed my direction in life and led me to where I am today.”
Sue is also a qualified Thai Yoga massage, Indian Head massage & Reiki practitioner and often incorporates these modalities into her classes.
Wendy Jones
Wendy is a qualified White Tiger Qigong Instructor in 5 Element Qigong…a fusion of ancient Daoist wisdom and modern science. Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines physical movement, breathing techniques and focused attention to promote health and vitality. Qigong enhances mobility & balance and relaxes the mind. Suitable for all levels
Wendy is also passionate about health and well being and is a certified Food Matters nutrition coach.
Sharon James
Sharon has lived most of her life on the Mornington Peninsula. She has been practicing yoga for 10 years and is a passionate and dedicated yogi. When she is not in the yoga studio you will find her paddle boarding out on the bay.
Sharon specialises in Vinyasa Yoga. She teaches from the heart and you can expect a fun and nurturing class.
Bali is Sharon's second home. She loves the people, culture and everything Bali has to offer.

The Shala Cafe serves vibrant, tasty international and local cuisine, juices, smoothies, and sweets. Serving vegetarian and vegan food only, the kitchen team are experienced in catering for all dietary needs. Indian Cafe Mumbai Station Indian Cafe brings a touch of India to Bali. We serve a mix of north and south Indian favourites as well as an Ayurvedic menu. Ayurvedic SPA Darshana Veda Ayurvedic Spa offers specialised Ayurvedic treatments and a range of traditional massages, manicure, pedicure, flower petal bath and more. All our products are luxurious, natural, and made in-house.

A traditional Bungalow has a lovely private garden. A natural wood interior and ensuite bathroom. It has an AC, ceiling fan, mini fridge and tea making facilities.
