I stumbled upon this unique mountain hideaway many years ago on my first trip to Yosemite. Nestled away at the entrance to Yosemite National Park in Midpines, the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort is the perfect home away from home. Wake up in the crisp mountain air as we start our days with revitalizing yoga sessions in a tree lined yoga studio that opens to a balcony high in the canopy. In between yoga sessions, take advantage of the resort's amenities, including a spa with sauna, steam room, and a huge spring fed copper hot tub. Head out to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Yosemite National Park nearby, or simply tuck into a book in one of the resort's many scenic corners. This retreat includes two nights accommodations, 6 delicious meals, and 3 days of spa access. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surrounding mountains, lush forests, and clear skies where time seems to slow down and mother nature shows off her majestic beauty. Know Before You Go
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur. There is a non-refundable $250 deposit. If we are able to fill your space we will gladly reimburse you, less any fees we cannot recover. However, if we cannot fill your space, no refunds can be given. Travel insurance may be purchased separately.
Yosemite National Park Entry is SEPARATE
If you would like to enter Yosemite National Park please make a reservation on Recreation.gov. These tend to sell out in the warmer months so please do so ASAP. Reservations are per vehicle and cover 3 days in the park. Last I checked a reservation costs $2. It's worth making one, trust me ;)
Schedule of Events
Friday Night: arrivals, dinner, and bonfire
Saturday Morning: meditation, yoga, and breakfast in community
Saturday Afternoon Free Time: enjoy the spa and relax with lunch on property or give me a heads up and the resort will pack your lunch to-go for a adventure into Yosemite National Park (note below).
Saturday Evening: dinner in community followed by a gentle stretch and sound bath. Group trip to the spa to follow.
Sunday Morning: meditation, yoga, and breakfast in community followed by group mindfulness practice and closing ceremony. Lunch can be enjoyed independently on site or a pack lunch can be taken to go for the road.

Ready to embark on your solo time away? Look no further. Your room will be appointed with a queen bed with fresh white linens ready for you to stretch out on and private bathroom with fluffy towels all to yourself.
For those traveling alone looking to bunk up with other retreaters to save costs, this option is for you! Sign up here and we can group you with others looking for bunk buddies. With this option you will have your own bed and no more than 2 roommates with whom you'll share a private bathroom. There has been lots of interest in this option so I'm confident we will find plenty of folks to group together. That said I can't guarantee we find you a match. In the event we do not find you a bunk buddy, your deposit will be fully refundable. To allow time for the matching process, please book ASAP and no later than March 1st.
