Join us for an unforgettable journey to the countryside of Catalonia for a Mindfulness Meditation retreat. 

We'll spend six nights at a traditional 18th-century Catalan farmhouse, transformed into a beautiful art-filled villa nestled among the Pènedes vineyards which are located just outside of Barcelona, Spain.

Awaken your senses in this quietly situated 'Masia', that breathes warmth and understated luxury. You are invited to unwind, sit back, and return home to yourself in the heart of a rural setting.

Planned down to the finest details, this Studio Meiso retreat also includes:

Meditation Practices: Each day begins with a guided meditation to settle your mind and spirit, setting the tone for a day of self-awareness.

Cultural Immersion: Experience true slow living through curated activities, including an immersive wine tasting (hello, Cava!), and other Spanish surprises.

Restorative Practices: Restorative Yoga sessions are designed to harmonize your body and mind, helping you to release tension and feel grounded. Complement with practices like Yoga Nidra, a deep relaxation technique to enhance your sense of well-being.

One-On-One Support: Multiple private sessions will be woven into your experience, allowing you to receive one-on-one support from your multi-disciplinary lead, Cami, as well as new friends that you will meet on retreat.

This retreat is for you if:

1. You want to travel to Spain with like-minded women, and potentially make new friends.

2. You want to practice meditation and enjoy daily wellness practices.

3. You want to explore a new culture and experience mindful travel.

This retreat is not for you if:

1. You like to vacation solo! While you may have a private room - we'll be dining and enjoying Spain together.

2. You do not want to or like to meditate.

3. You like to party on vacation, do drugs, etc.

You will be guided by Studio Meiso's founder, Camille Coss. 

Cami is a Meditation Guide, Sound Practitioner, Reiki Master, Astrologer, and Yoga Teacher. When she isn't creating magic at Studio Meiso, she is likely devoting time to her other passion - travel. 

As an Independent Virtuoso Travel Advisor, Cami is a pro at collecting the finest places and curating the most meaningful experiences. As a retreat guide, her guests benefit from her industry experience and heart-warming global relationships. Tell me about our accommodation in Catalonia. 

Your villa for the retreat includes seven beautifully designed bedrooms, each with a modern bathroom en suite. In terms of common areas, we will enjoy a wonderful yoga and meditation studio, an art studio, a patio, a garden with a terrace, an outdoor dining area under a giant fig tree, and a saltwater pool with a lounge area.

Although there is enough space and privacy in and around the house, the atmosphere is generously warm; since the villa was created to be an artist residency you can expect touches of magic around each corner.

Are excursions and activities required?

Everything during the retreat is optional. While we encourage you to have an open mind, this time is about taking care of YOU. Please do what feels best and right for your body and spirit in the moment.

Is pricing in USD? Do I need local currency?

Yes, all pricing is in USD. Having around 200 to 300 EUR should cover any incidental expenses (souvenirs, personal items, gratuities) comfortably for the length of your retreat.

I have an allergy, or medical condition. Can I come?
There will be a chance to submit any dietary allergies, or personal notes during registration. If you are worried about your allergy or medical condition, please let us know by emailing hello@studiomeiso.com before registration to learn more about the menu/itinerary.

Are vaccines required to visit Spain?
No specific vaccines are required for travelers from the USA, but it's wise to check with a healthcare provider for personalized recommendations.

What should I wear?

Wear lightweight, breathable layers like long skirts, dresses, or pants and light tops. We'll do daily movement (nothing too active) so you should be good in comfortable loungewear. Pack a hat, sunglasses, and a light jacket for cooler evenings. If you have any specific questions about packing, please contact us at hello@studiomeiso.com.

What is available to us in our leisure time? 

You will enjoy daily leisure time. You are welcome to lounge in the vineyard, rest, spend time with your new friends, walk around the property, go for a run, journal, etc. Your 1:1 treatments will be built into your leisure time and will be scheduled and offered to you at the start of your stay.

Is laundry service available?

There is a washing machine available, available for your usage in the common lounge area.

Are shower and pool towels provided?

Yes.

Is there wifi? How about outlets? 

Yes, there is complimentary wifi available. We always like to use an E-Sim as well. Check out Airalo.

What is the weather like in Catalonia?

Catalonia’s climate is primarily a Mediterranean climate, with mild temperatures and little rain. With neutral summers and moderately cold winters it is common for accomodations like ours to not have western air conditioning. In March that means that the days are between 55-65 farenheit and the evenings are a little cooler. In the microclimate of the valley where the villa is situated, there is normally an average of more than 300 sunny days and around 500 mm of rain annually. What is an Altar Offering?

During the retreat, you are invited to bring a meaningful object. We will create a space at the front of our practice room for you to place this object. It could be a photo, a piece of art, jewelry, a letter—anything. We suggest that you think about this ahead of time. You'll get this back at the end of your program.

I would like to stay in Barcelona before or after the retreat. Can you help me coordinate an extension? 

Of course! Please include this request in your registration. From the villa, it is easy to plan a solo extension into the city of Barcelona, or even explore Spain further. If you'd like to visit another country, we'd suggest spending some time in Portugal. You can learn more about Traveled By Cami here.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

'Guided By Cami LLC' does not offer refunds for the deposit for any reason. If you should need to cancel before the payment deadline of January 8th, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment. Should you need to cancel after the payment deadline, the remainder of your payment must be paid in full. Please know that should you cancel, you are able to transfer your canceled registration to another person that is not currently registered for retreat. 'Guided By Cami LLC' is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, positive COVID test, extended lodging, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

When is my remainder due?

Remainder payments are due March 1, 2025.

Tell me about Cancel for any Reason (CFAR) Travel Cancellation Insurance.

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so we require all guests to insure their investment with travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance through RoamRight, or visit the following web site to compare insurers: www.worldnomads.com. Traveled By Cami is a travel insurance retailer and can help you find the right policy if you wish. Insurance is required, but booking through Traveled By Cami is not required.
