Upon arrival, you’ll meet your guide and transfer to Taipei City, where our first stop is the iconic Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, an impressive monument honoring President Chiang Kai-shek. Next, we’ll head to the Grand Hotel Taipei, a historic 5-star landmark, for a photo stop. En route, our guide will provide a brief introduction to the Presidential Office Building, a symbolic landmark and significant historical site in the city.
After our stop at the Grand Hotel, we will visit the Martyrs’ Shrine, where the highlight is the ceremonial changing of the guards. Then, we’ll continue to the world-renowned National Palace Museum, which houses nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese artifacts and artworks, spanning over 8,000 years of history and multiple dynasties.
Our final stop (either before or after dinner) is the Taipei 101 Observatory, spread across four floors. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and learn about the architectural and engineering marvel of Taipei 101, once the world’s tallest building and now the tallest green building globally.
