In this 2-hour intensive, Talia will provide a brief history of the Ghoṣ Lineage, clarify the structure of the sequence, and share her insights on mastering its postures and breathing exercises. Talia has been teaching and practicing this sequence for over 15 years and was a Champion of the Lineage.
With its precise movements and focus on stillness, this sequence, which includes prāṇāyāma and āsana, is ideal for daily practice. It helps develop a focused and one-pointed mind, while also building strength, balance, and flexibility throughout the whole body.

Friday, July 11 | 6-9 PM Ngee Ann City Studios
In this three hours workshop, we will discuss and clarify the meaning, context and goals of haṭha yoga (haṭha meaning effort). Through an interactive lecture, we will breakdown, clarify and understand the techniques and purpose of key haṭha yoga components with a special focus on bandha (energetic locks).
The workshop will include slideshow lecture, demonstrations, Q&A and isolated portions of practice. It will not be a continuous āsana practice.
This workshop will transform your āsana practice and overall lifestyle.
It is recommended for all levels of practitioners. It is highly recommended that you attend this workshop in order to properly understand and participate in the other workshops.

Saturday, July 12 | 10 AM-1 PM Ngee Ann City Studios
This three hour workshop will clarify and transform your awareness, understanding, technique and execution of all backbending āsanas. You will learn how to backbend without any pain.
Backbends heal and strengthen the spine and open up the front side of the body allowing for the Heart Space to release and expand to its full potential.
Our spine, like a tree of nerves, connects mind to body and transports more energy than we can ever imagine through its center. In this class, you will be introduced to Talia’s Three Step Backbending Method which she has been teaching and developing for over a decade.
Talia’s Method is holistic and has helped thousands of people worldwide, not only with their physical āsana skills but with the recognition, total acceptance and responsibility over the underlying emotional and mental obstacles as well.
Through crystal clear instruction and demonstration, you will gain transformative tools to strengthen, mobilize and heal the entire spine while unveiling the joy of backbending āsanas.
Workshop includes slideshow lecture, demonstrations, Q&A, Backbending themed āsana practice which will cover classical backbending postures in their foundational, intermediate and advanced variations, prāṇāyāma, meditation and guided relaxation.

True physical flexibility is an extension of a flexible state of being: a satvik state.
In this three hour workshop, you will be introduced to Talia’s Three Step Flexibility Method which will teach you to recognize and let go of the internal stressors and causes which limit your physical and mental potential. The Method is life-changing both on and off the mat.
In addition, we will break down The Method: Inversions. You’ll learn a three-step approach to headstand, forearm stand, and handstand that will help you overcome your fears and doubts of going upside down. Inversions don’t create fear — they unveil it. The Method is designed to help you lean into that fear by teaching you safe alignment and technique for inversions. With regular practice of the method, you’ll gain deep insight into yourself and find physical and emotional balance, on and off the mat. Using āsana as as a portal to inner space, we will unveil our own natural spacious presence one breath at a time.
This state of flexibility and balance is natural and everyone has access to it. These T.S. Methods offer us a simple, effective way to approach these lifetime practices so that physically, mentally, emotionally and beyond, we are able to navigate more gracefully through ourselves and the world around us.

Sunday, July 13 | 10 AM-1 PM Ngee Ann City Studios
This Signature Talia Sutra LAAIC Class is an all-encompassing, sattva-based hybrid of the Ghoṣ lineage and the Aṣṭāṅga Vinyasa system. It will weave together the journey from the previous three workshops into a cohesive practice.
Talia’s classes provide strong, crystal-clear verbal cues with an emphasis on cultivating inner stillness and conscious intelligence using bandha, gaze and breath-awareness as keys.
Another trademark of a Talia Sutra LAAIC Class is the methodical activation of the spine in all five directions: forward, back, lateral, twist and flexion.
Mantra, prāṇāyāma, and deep relaxation in śavāsana are integral parts of the experience. Together, we will explore the stillness within movement and discover spaciousness and depth both inside and out, utilizing tools such as breath awareness, count, gaze, and energetic locks.
The class also features meditation, āsana, demonstrations, and guided relaxation.
