Very immersive trip spending quality time both in mainland Ecuador, particularly the highlands, as well as the Galapagos. While the itinerary and activity for this trip was pretty packed, it was incredibly immersive and well-designed. We were able to interact with people in each city we visited and develop a strong appreciation for and understanding of the culture. Our local guides were very informative and friendly and really helped craft a listing of activity that appealed to all ages involved in our trip. While my personal favorite was the experience on the Galapagos mainly due to the wildlife and remote nature of it, the time in mainland Ecuador was well-spent and very enjoyable (even factoring in the altitude). I definitely returned with a healthy education on Ecuador and an appreciation for how beautiful that part of the world is.

This trip was amazing. I had lots of fun with all of the activities we did. Our guide Enti was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and the environments we visited. He made our trip better because of how good he is. Wish we could have done more outdoor activities.

Spectacular trip that provided lifelong memories! Iceland is a beautiful, almost alien island. There were experiences there that you will never get anywhere else. Most memorable were the lava show, blue lagoon and ice cave. This was our 3rd trip with Family Science Adventures: Costa Rica, Peru and Iceland. It’s great to not worry about trip logistics and to just focus on the adventures!!
