This morning, start with a walking tour of one of the biggest Chinatowns in the world. The hustle and bustle, colorful lights, vibrant colors, beautiful Chinese temples, and wide array of street food will awaken your senses. Also, visit Wat Traimit, one of Bangkok's most famous temples. It houses the largest solid gold Buddha image in the world!

For lunch, head to the award-winning Cabbages and Condoms restaurant. This restaurant promotes family planning and generates income for various projects that advocate family planning. Inside the restaurant, almost everything is made of condoms!

Then make your way to the Klong Toei wet market, the largest and most local in Bangkok. Anything and everything is sold, including live ducks, insects, and snakes! Put on a pair of closed-toe shoes and get ready to experience a real Thai market as you walk through while tasting exotic fruits. If you’re brave enough, you can sample some of the more creepy, crawly delicacies! Along the way, pick up food for the cooking class, and after the market visit, you'll master the art of Thai cooking. This is an activity that you can feel good about as some of the proceeds go to the Klong Toei slums, the largest in Bangkok. Klong Toei is a truly local market that few farang (foreigners) get to see!

The rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy the vibrant city vibes of Bangkok, maybe check out a 360° view from one of the many rooftops!

Journey to Railay today, situated about an hour and a half by plane south of Bangkok followed by another 2-hour journey by van and boat. Arrive at Railay in time for the most awe-inspiring sunset you have ever seen! Watching the sun paint the sky with nearly all the colors of the rainbow accompanied by a fresh coconut water, smoothie, or cocktail makes for a perfect end to the day.

Railay is a welcome relief after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok as the town is completely pedestrian and there are no cars or motorbikes around so you can easily explore without getting lost. Railay is special because it is surrounded by large limestone cliffs which make it accessible only by boat. Railay is well-known for its rock climbing and is one of the most photogenic spots in all of Thailand.

This afternoon, hop on an old Thai sailboat for a cruise around massive intricate rock formations protruding from the ocean depths. The cruise starts around 2:00 PM and ends around 8:00 PM so you'll be able to enjoy a breathtaking sunset followed by dinner on board the boat which is included.

Experience magic unlike you’ve ever seen before! As you cruise, there'll be stops for snorkeling but you can also just chill on the boat and enjoy the views with a drink in hand. Innertubes and paddleboards will also be available. After night falls, you'll have the option of snorkeling to see the bioluminescent plankton light up around you.

Today, everything you'd like to do is completely up to you. Your trip leader will provide you with a list of activities in Railay the day before and can make arrangements for anything you'd like to do. Most activities can be arranged at little to no notice. You may opt to go kayaking, rock climbing, snorkeling, island hopping, scuba diving, or just lounge around on the beach and get massages. It's your vacation so you can do what you'd like!

Thailand’s most exquisite beach all to yourself! Later in the evening, head to Phra Nang Beach which is less than a 10-minute walk away. This is the best time to visit this beach since all the day-trippers from Phuket will have left and you'll have the entire beach to yourselves!

Phra Nang Beach is among the most photographed beaches in Thailand thanks to its breathtaking views. On the beach, head over to the "penis temple” where Thai women leave penis statues with hopes of being blessed with good fertility. Then, sit back and watch the sunset on the vast stretch of beach in peace without the crowds!

A unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience! Get ready to spend the night in a floating lake hotel inside the national park. After a short transfer by van to the edge of the lake, there'll be a 1-hour boat ride to the accommodation. During the boat ride, you’ll get a chance to see the large limestone cliffs and dense jungles in their full glory.

Once at the floating lake hotel, you will be served lunch and then, head out for a short hike in the jungle. The easy-to-moderate walk is about 30 minutes each way and is a scenic trek through the jungle. Try bamboo rafting on the scenic Cheow Larn Lake, and explore a cave covered in stalactites, stalagmites and fossils that are between 250-400 million years old!

Hike back to your floating lake house where you can take a dip in the lake or rest. Have dinner together and later, you have the option to take an evening boat safari to try to spot wild elephants!

Wake up this morning and watch the mist drift along the water and jungle treetops as you search for wildlife. Then, board a long tail boat back to the shore and head north toward the forest of Chiang Mai to escape the heat. This morning head to the Sticky Waterfalls, famous because of its "sticky" rocks that make it possible to climb barefoot up the waterfalls!

This evening, we recommend exploring Chiang Mai Sunday Walking Street where you can see the city’s temples by night and enjoy some street shopping.

Begin the day with a tuk-tuk tour around the city and stop at Wat Sri Suphan (Silver Temple) and Wat Chedi Luang. As you visit the temples, you'll see monks doing their mantras and meditating. If you'd like, you can sign up for a monk chat at one of these temples on one of your free days. A monk chat is a conversation between tourists and monks to ask questions you may have about Buddhism or Thailand. This also gives the novice monks a great opportunity to practice their English! After the tuk-tuk tour, stop for lunch to enjoy a bowl of khao soi, the most iconic dish of the north.

In the afternoon, dress up in Thai traditional clothes and learn to carve masterpieces out of fruits with a local handcrafter. Fruit carving is a traditional Thai art of precision and was used to decorate the tables of the royal family. And even after centuries, it is still a respected art!

The rest of the day is yours to do as you please and your trip leader will be there to point you in the right direction!

Today is a free day and you're free to decide what to do. Chiang Mai boasts a rich culture and ethnic diversity as well as several elephant sanctuaries, cooking and massage schools, various outdoor activities, handicraft workshops, cultural performances, and waterfalls galore! The hotel is situated in the heart of the city so there’s a lot to see and do nearby and you can easily venture out on your own.

This evening, head to the Chiang Mai (Ploen Ruedee) Night Market, and your tour leader will explain how to get around. Then, you'll have free time to explore the market full of delicious street food and fun souvenirs.

After the sun goes down, meet up for a ladyboy show with all the flash and pizzazz associated with the ladyboys of Thailand!

This morning, head to the outskirts of Chiang Mai where the elephants roam in peace. You’ll observe the daily patterns of these jungle giants, see how they graze and socialize with others, and get up close to feed and bathe them. Learn from the local experts about how this sanctuary supports the protection and conservation of these beautiful creatures.

Learn how to make your own noodle soup for lunch. Afterward, attend a traditional herb lesson to learn more about the plants, leaves, roots, and vines used as medicine for healing both elephants and people.

Time to head back to Bangkok where you can enjoy your last massage, fruit smoothie, and pad thai on the famous (or should we say infamous?!) Khao San Road.

In the late afternoon meet again to visit Wat Arun, "Temple of Dawn", a major landmark on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. Cross the river and have one last dinner together with views of Wat Arun in the backdrop as you say goodbye to your new friends.
