This was an amazing experience and I'm so glad I was able to participate. I appreciated the thought and care given to the conversation starters that helped facilitate discussion on the bus. I also appreciated the regular encouragement about unity. I look forward to more trips in the future where learning and development are combined.

The trip exceeded my expectations in every way. However, the one standout was the incredible quality of speakers we were able to meet and be inspired by. Given we were a relatively small group of 30 there were many opportunities to connect directly with leaders in the space of equity and justice. The comradery between participants was amazing. I learned so much and left inspired to continue to do my work.

The program was mindfully crafted and implemented, thanks to the hard work of an amazing team. The bus rides, hotel condition and food arrangements were all great. But the best part of the tour was the people, be the facilitators who cared about all participants; the speakers who shared their wisdom and experience for thought provoking talks, or the participants who took genuine interest in learning from different cultures and communities and had courageous conversations to reach deeper understanding of each other. I felt moved and hopeful at the end of the trip. The world is truly a better place when we are together!

I truly enjoyed myself and this tour. I have taken so much from this tour and encouraged others to come on this tour to learn more about civil rights that are not learned without doing your own research.

I had a wonderful time. Enjoyed meeting new people. I learned so much at both museums particularly the Holocaust Museum. I’m still searching for truths regarding that experience. The food was awesome especially at Hell’s Kitchen!! Thank you for allowing me to attend!
