To join us for the BJJ Camp Experience in Calima, Colombia, please book your flights to Cali and fly into the International Airport Alfonso Bonilla Aragon.

Upon arrival, our team members will personally greet you and provide two airport transfers, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, directly to our beautiful camp location in Lake Calima, just 1.5 hours away from the airport.

Please keep in mind that arrival day is on March 25th, and we kindly request that you book your arrival times between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. For different pick-up times, we are happy to arrange them for a small additional cost.

Alex Ecklin – Masterskya Co-Founder, 2nd Degree Black Belt

Alex Ecklin is a 3rd -degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro and a decorated competitor with medals in IBJJF Worlds, Europeans, No-Gi Pans (Brown Belt), American Nationals, and multiple IBJJF International titles. At Black Belt Masters, he’s claimed gold at No-Gi Pans and the Atlanta No-Gi Open.

Beyond the competition mats, Alex has left an undeniable mark on the New York Jiu-Jitsu scene as the co-founder of Masterskya, a thriving academy known for its inclusive vibe and high-level training. He’s built more than a gym—he’s created a community where people grow, push limits, and keep coming back for more.

Renowned as an undercover BJJ genius, Alex is both an innovator and technician. He’s the creator of the “G-Roll” attack system, featured on BJJ Fanatics and The Grapplers Guide, where his ability to simplify complex movements has gained him a loyal following. Kitesurf - Swimsuit

Excursion - Hiking shoes are suggested, Light Jacket or wind Braker, Small waterproof bag.

General - Causal 70 degree to 80 degree weather during the day. Mid 60's degree in the evening.

Shoes - sneakers, Crocs, Sandals, slip-ons are suggested.

You'll get three hours of personalized kitesurfing lessons, tailored to your skills and abilities. Whether you're a complete newbie or have some experience, our expert instructors will provide the guidance you need to enjoy an unforgettable kitesurfing adventure.

- Kitesurf Journey: For those who are serious about kitesurfing, this plan includes 5 hours of personalized kitesurfing lessons. While this plan requires missing one more BJJ training session, it's the perfect choice for those that would like a more in depth experience in this exciting sport. Whether you're looking to improve your skills or learn new techniques, our experienced instructors are here to help you achieve your kitesurfing goals.

Our certified IKO instructors will give you a safe introduction to the sport of kitesurfing in Calima, a world-renowned kitesurfing location with constant winds all year round.

For an additional cost, you can add a once-in-a-lifetime kitesurfing experience to your reservation.

I had a great time. The accommodations were good. The chef created amazing dishes and the staff were so kind. The BJJ experience was amazing and it was a great experience to roll with so many locals that have the love for the sport. The planned excursions were a ton of fun as well.

This a must go to for anyone who wants to travel to a gorgeous country and be able to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with incredible people in a beautiful setting. This was my second time that I have gone to the BJJ XP Camp and somehow they improved an already amazing camp experience. From the training, hospitality and fun activities (paddle boarding, kite surfing, waterfall trip) everything was incredible and I cannot thank Nico and his staff enough for another great experience. I am already looking forward to the next one!
