An exceptional experience on many levels. Traveling and camping with the local vaqueros was very special. The landscapes, rock art, and mule transport were all very unique and memorable. This is not an easy trip on a physical level, though. The logistics were generally smooth, and the trip schedule well thought out. An excellent group of people to spend time with. Very recommended.

Steve, I so appreciate the time you took to share your experience. It was a great pleasure to have you along, and I do hope to see you again next year. Deborah
Oaxaca is a vibrant city with friendly people and true Mexican spirit. Our hotel was close to the zocalo and both mercados and convenient to restaurants and the historic district. Thisvisbmybfifithbtripbwith Deborah and her itineraries always attract friendly and fun travelers
Well planned and executed. She advertises “off the beaten track” and it was that! Small group of 10. Diverse outings. One day was a trip to a non-tourist market with a chef, buying foods, then traveling to the chef’s home to cook what we bought. So interesting, informative and delicious! Lovely old hotel that was our home for six nights. Friendly local people. Great shopping. Highly recommend!
Once in a lifetime adventure! Well-organized, very diverse experiences offered, excellent guides and support staff, good food, and animals, animals, animals! I'll cherish my photos, memories, and the relationships between trip participants forever.

Marceil, thank you for taking the time to put your thoughts to paper (or, computer). It was a great pleasure to have you join me, and I am very happy you enjoyed the adventure.
Deborah Stephens has scouted out some beautiful locations in a remote area of Mexico. Accommodations were comfortable and well located. Local guides were excellent at times and adequate at others. Miguel our driver is careful and an artist at navigating sometimes challenging Mexican roads. Elevate the eating options to dining options and we have a five star trip.

Anthony, Thank you so much for taking the time to put down your thoughts, we so appreciate it. I do wish we could upgrade the eating options to dining options, but often in off-the-beaten-path adventures there are not enough tourists to attract 5 star chefs. I hope you join us again and we'll scout out some new places !
