Join Jaycee Gossett and Caleb Spaulding for a 5-day Retreatment at Lumeria Maui, where we'll move our bodies and explore nature in the luscious mountains of Hawaii’s North Shore.

In The Class, led by Jaycee and supported by Caleb on live percussion, movement will offer the time and space to lay down what may be heavy and restore what may be frayed. In the in-between moments, we’ll adventure into the natural gifts of Maui—from forest bathing to afternoons by the beach—in order to reconnect with the aliveness and presence of Mother Nature.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

The Class: Jaycee’s Retreatment Classes are intentionally curated to give students more time to connect to subtle layers of body, mind, and spirit.

Rhythmic Percussion: Caleb will accompany The Class on Djembe drum to allow students to get deeper into their bodies, coming out the other side feeling more alive and renewed. 

Rhythm of Happiness: Using the drum as an anchor, Caleb will lead participants through a rhythmic breathing exercise that calms the nervous system and brings the mind back to the present moment. Participants will be led through a guided sound meditation that focuses on the rhythm of the heart. The use of sound gives the mind something to focus on, which makes it great for both beginners and those looking to deepen their meditation practice.

Nourishment: All meals during The Retreatment will be gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and farm-to-table delicious from The Wooden Crate, Lumeria’s on-site restaurant.

Exploration: From forest bathing to experiencing Hawaii’s cultural Luau, we’ll explore what Maui has to offer and immerse ourselves in nature.

The property’s 5.6 private acres offer beautiful views of the North Shore and central valley. Lumeria Maui is located between the famous historic plantation towns of Paia and Makawao, with easy access to the best beaches and surf breaks on Maui’s North Shore ,as well as a plethora of off-site adventure and learning experiences.

‘The Class Corp’ does not offer refunds for the deposit for any reason.

If you should need to cancel prior to the December 28, 2024, payment deadline, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment. Should you need to cancel on or after December 28, 2024, the remainder of your payment must be paid in full. This policy applies to each individual student, so a cancellation by one person does not transfer to another individual. ‘The Class Corp’ is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, positive covid test, extended lodging, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

Travel Cancellation Insurance

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
