"Winter, a lingering season, is a time to gather golden moments, embark upon a sentimental journey, and enjoy every idle hour." — John Boswell
Winter is a time where we go inward—we watch nature hibernate—everything gets more still and quiet. It’s the perfect time to leave things behind, to release bad habits, to shine the light on things you want to highlight in your life and leave thoughts that are holding you back in the darkness.
Join husband and wife duo—Jackie Walsh & Tyler Grobe for a long weekend away to a cozy Barndominium in Clymer, New York! Together we will practice yoga, journal, meditate, eat delicious food and embrace the winter season. Practicing in community in the darkest days of winter, we can cultivate vitality and brightness and return home renewed and deeply rested.
During this retreat, we will use the practices of yoga (asana, breath and meditation) in a peaceful and natural environment to revitalize the body and calm the mind. Together we will focus our attention on turning inward so that we may learn more about ourselves and find a better understanding of what we truly want and need.
The retreat space is a short and easy 2 hour and 20-minutes’ drive from Cleveland. Grab some friends and carpool together or enjoy a quiet drive on your own!
There will be time to head outdoors to hike and find an appreciation for the colder season, as well as options to go on other winter adventures such as snowshoeing, snowtubing, skiing, and snowboarding (please pack accordingly: layers, winter boots, hats and gloves are recommended—a detailed packing list will be sent out via email a month before our retreat).
Shared and private rooms are available with the option to do a payment plan to make things even more feasible for you! This is an investment in yourself and you very much deserve it!
With only 12 spots available for this retreat, we will sell out very quickly!
Unplug from your daily routine and dive into a special long weekend with like-minded individuals, taking time to recharge, reboot, and discover ways to connect further inward. This weekend will emphasize the importance of self-discovery, personal growth, and the inward journey as a means to find one's purpose, happiness, and fulfillment.
Let's use this time together to release the things that no longer serve us so we can heal, grow and thrive in community.
