About this trip

While many think of Sicily in terms of the movies, the island is rich in many beautiful religious sites from the time when Jesuit missionaries arrived in the early 1500s.  It also has a robust cultural history from the Normans, French, Latins, Arab Muslims and Byzantine Greeks.  And of course, AMAZING FOOD!  Each day we will celebrate Holy Mass in a beautiful church and take time for devotional prayer.

The trip totally exceeded all expectations for our visit to Rome. Thanks to Steve and Sam who went out of their way to make sure our experience was as rewarding as possible. Our tour guides were also exceptional. Their knowledge of the various sites made the tour an educational experience. Seeing the Holy Father and attending Sunday mass at St. Peter's Basilica was an experience that will never be forgotten. The Basilicas and churches along with the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel with the beautiful artwork will be memories not forgotten. The sights, sounds, food and interaction with our fellow pilgrims will also be a lifelong remembrance.

An amazing trip. Great "guiding" by Steve and Sam. Wonderful people on the pilgrimage from St. Patrick's. Great food. Wonderful sights. I'll go back tomorrow if possible.

We had a good trip. Beautiful churches with breath-taking art and architecture, plus the historic sights of ancient Rome. Steve and Sam did a good job of managing our group, getting us to the right places on time. Unfortunately, our priest was unable to make the trip so we missed out on a few things where only a priest has access. On the other hand, we were fortunate that our deacon was on the trip and stepped up wonderfully in the absence of our priest. We did a lot of walking which offset all the delicious calories we consumed at a number of good restaurants on our trip. Bottom line -- we feel the reason to be part of a pilgrimage to Rome was to develop an increase in our faith and this trip did exactly that. We pray that it will continue.

It was a great pilgrimage. Very well organized. Wonderful sights. Excellent food. I made lots of food and new friends. The accommodations were comfortable. My spiritual life grew a lot.

Wow! What a wonderful Poland Pilgrimage Steve and Father Jerome provided for us. I was blown away by the beauty of this amazingly resilient country. The 11th Century Bnedictine Abbey, Krakow, St Mary's , Wawel Cathedral, Jewish Quarter, Czestochowa ( The Black Madonna), Wadowice (Pope John Paul II's home town and church), the beautiful mountains of Zakopane, the dehumanizing Nazi concentration camp of Auschwitz, Divine Mercy Shrine and the Salt Mines were all so educational and spiritually moving. Our Polish tour guide, Marta was fabulous as well. She went above and beyond her professional responsibilities in making sure everyone had what they needed. Thank you for the Pilgrimage of a lifetime! Perogies anyone??
