Journey back to the heart of being. This is an invitation to slow down, to realign with the rhythms of nature, to gather in the collective spirit of the embodied feminine, and reawaken the heart’s calling.
Join for a 4-day womxn’s retreat in the Northern California wilderness. Through daily yoga asana, pranayama and meditation we summon the body’s regenerative power and cultivate self-care practices to restore our holistic being. Through ritual and sacred circle we rediscover our unique magick, connect with the infinite web of womanhood, and what it means to be human - exploring themes that invite our most authentic selves to step forth.
Call in your deepest self, replenish your mind, body, spirit and connect with the collective strength of sisterhood.
At the core of our being is love. Yet in our busy day and age, it is easy to become disconnected from our source. The intention is simple: to slow down, reawaken our body’s wisdom, connect with our heart’s truest intentions and embrace the fullness of our beings with love and kindness.
Enjoy two yoga classes daily, intended to inspire embodied awareness and personal expression. Each class is guided with deep intention, mindfulness and Ayurvedic principles to integrate body, mind and heart. Morning Asana is inspired by solar energy, a mindful vinyasa class unfolding conscious awareness through the dance of breath with movement. In the afternoon, we wind down the day with a lunar-inspired practice such as Restorative with Hot Stones, Aromatherapy Grounding Flow, or Yoga Nidra Sound Meditation with Himalayan Singing Bowls crafted under the Full Moon.
One can expect meditation, pranayama, breath awareness, mudra and mantra. Whether a seasoned practitioner or new yogi, instruction and modifications are given for each individual explore one’s potential. These practices are crafted with the intention to reconnect and rediscover all that you are.
Sacred circle is an ancient tradition that lives in our bones. Returning to circle is a supportive vessel inviting the feminine spirit, the one that is receptive, allowing, passionate, wild, and alive. We’ll sit in conscious agreement to be vulnerable, we’ll sit in what is, we’ll sit with women in commitment to a deeper understanding of who we are and who they really are - to remember who we are together by sharing our lives and sacred hearts.
Enjoy a retreat menu intentionally crafted to nourish and heal. Each meal is made with Ayurvedic principles that align with the season and the local harvest. Food is medicine and has the power to shift the vibration of our being.
Our Chef, Donica Tomko, prepares each dish with enthusiasm, intention and love. All meals are plant-based with organic ingredients that are sourced for their high quality, nutrient-dense and nourishing essence. We support our local farmers when possible.
If you have any special dietary needs or restrictions, we can happily accommodate.
The Spirit House is a hilltop retreat home overlooking the magical Northern California Valley. Think cozy mornings with the fog rolling over the knolls, warm afternoons to meander the enchanting gardens, forests and open meadows. Evenings where the sunset envelopes your being and the moonrise casts a soft glow around. Without a doubt, the Spirit House is like no other sanctuary.
Located near San Francisco yet feels like a world away - feel time stand still. Spirit House itself is cozy and welcoming with lots of natural wood and south facing passive solar windows, beautiful gardens, and perhaps the best private hot tub deck you’ve ever seen, complete with an outdoor hot and cold water shower. Experience the intentional feng shui and sacred art that lives in the house. Enjoy many quiet nooks for reading and reflection.
Bedrooms at Spirit House are shared, with multiple beds in each bedroom. There is a large yurt–a round semi-permanent tent-like structure–on the property with a wood-burning stove - our sacred place for embodied movement, yoga, and sharing circle. There are goats and often cows in the adjacent pastures. Wildlife is generally abundant around Spirit House–including raven, deer, wild turkeys, and other animals.
Arrive ready to let the residue of daily stress dissolve. Leave with deep reconnection to your truest self.
