What an unforgettable and educational experience climbing to the top of the highest active volcano in El Salvador. Francis was fluent in English and patiently care for all of our family as we embarked in the hike to the crater top. Through it all, Francis gaged the pace of the hike and adjusted accordingly; however, even my over 70 year old mother felt comfortable on the hike and I believe it was attributed to Francis expertise. Our pick up was on time, and the drive provided an opportunity to learn more about the country. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to climb an active volcano and experience the awesomeness of nature. My two sons and wife commented that this was their favorite part of our vacation.
