Nourishing Meals: Prepare your taste buds for a culinary experience that embraces high-protein, nutrient-dense foods designed to support hormonal balance. There will also be desserts because, let’s be honest, life is too short not to enjoy a little sweetness—especially when you’re navigating the wild ride of menopause! You'll leave with a handy recipe book detailing the wonderful meals we shared, so you can duplicate them at home.
Personalized Testing: For those curious about their unique needs, we’ll offer testing options that will help you uncover what your body truly craves. Your results will be explained by a Functional Medicine Doctor at the retreat! After all, knowing what’s going on in there can be empowering—just think of it as a backstage pass to your own body’s concert!
Yoga and Movement: Our daily yoga sessions will gently guide you through poses that bring flexibility and strength, all while reminding you to breathe deeply. Daily Resistance training will help build muscle and confidence, did you know after age 30 women lose 3-5% of their muscle mass each decade? Women 50 and over lose up to 3% of muscle each year! Without resistance training you are at a greater risk of injury and your ability to recover from simple injuries is diminished significatly. Let’s face it: strong women lifting each other up is an unstoppable force—and we’ll be raising more than just our spirits!
