From our hotel base in Saint Lary we set off to tackle the lesser known climb of Lac de Cap - de Long which actually stands higher than it's more famous sister climb - Le Col de Tourmalet.  This gem of a climb will be the perfect intro to this enchanting Pyrenean adventure.  

After a hearty breakfast we waste no time and head for the double peak challenge of the Col du Tourmalet and the Col d' Aspin - the epic mountains of the Tour de France folklore.  After conquering these two Pyrenean beasts -  we roll down for some R&R at our next gorgeous hotel where your luggage will be waiting in your room.

Today is the queen stage - our objective is reaching the border, not before climbing more Tour de France favorite Pyrenean peaks - Col d'Aubisque, Col Marie Blanque & Col de Landerre.  Today will leave you breathless in more ways than one - this could very well be your best day on a bike ever!  We arrive in the Basque country at our beautiful boutique riverside hotel.  

We leave France on day 5 and cross into Spin to take on a selection of stunning Cat 2 and 3 climbs of "el pais vasco."  Finishing the day along a dreamy route following the river all the way into the beautiful coastal town of San Sebastian.  Maybe dip those weary legs in the crystal clear Atlantic Ocean?

For the remainder of this adventure, we will be based in the heart of beautiful San Sebastian and from our luxury hotel - a chance to sample some of the famous hilly routes that have produced some of the best peloton's best climbers.  This stunning local favorite route takes on three of the most famous climbs in the region including Igedo, Basakabi & Puerto de Andazarrete

Following breakfast, an easy spin to shake out those aching legs, making our way along the coast out of San Sebastian with views over the Atlantic Bay.  After a farewell Basque lunch, we return transfer to your point of departure.
