The Retreat is an opportunity to unplug, move your body, rest your mind, and reconnect with yourself at the core of who you are through vinyasa yoga, meditation, relaxation, and shared experiences with others who are doing the same.
In our five full days together, everything we do will be centered around these five themes: GROW ROOTS, MAKE SPACE, BUILD STRENGTH, CREATE CONNECTION, FIND SOFTNESS. The goal? Leave for home with renewed confidence, refocused energy, and newfound clarity.
I have traveled all over — from Iceland to Morocco, Costa Rica to Greece, Colombia to California — and what I've learned is that Tulum is the place where I feel the most peace, the most joy, and the most connected — more than anywhere else, and I can't wait to share this magical, healing place with you.
Through my travel experience, I've also learned how to balance yoga, education, cultural immersion, fitness and relaxation to create a week that not just leaves you feeling reconnected with yourself but also with new likeminded friends.
You will watch the sun rise on morning beach walks, practice a strong power vinyasa flow each morning overlooking the jungle, enjoy fresh beachside meals, push your own boundaries in inversions and arm balancing workshops, taste the fresh ingredients of Quintana Roo in an authentic cooking class, learn to dance the salsa, and so much more.
We'll mix an immersion with the physical practice of yoga with all the right vacation vibes so you feel like you've recharged but also deepened your practicing and understanding of the asanas and your body. All yoga and group activities are optional, so you can curate the retreat that works for you.
Amansala is an all-inclusive resort and retreat center located steps from the ocean with four yoga shalas, a pool (rare in Tulum!), a dining room overlooking the water, a spa and plenty of loungers for enjoying the Mexican sunshine. The resort has an eco-chic vibe that comes with many Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice and Certification of Excellence awards, as well as many great customer reviews.

If you don’t have a buddy traveling with you, don’t worry. This retreat is designed for solo travelers to make new friends. As long as you’re comfortable sharing a room with another retreater of the same gender, feel free to book a shared room.
Please remember that in Tulum, resorts like Amansala have a more rustic vibe and aren’t like big-box chain hotels in the United States. The amenities at Amansala are charming and have so much character, we hope you’ll feel right at home.
