Day 1: Sunday, August 18th 

Savoring Šibenik and Primošten: A Perfect Croatian Welcome

Welcome to Exotic Croatia!

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Split Airport, where you'll embark on a scenic journey to the charming coastal city of Šibenik, one of Croatia’s hidden gems. Our stay will be at a delightful 4-star resort, where you can unwind and soak in the serene seaside atmosphere.

In the late afternoon, we will come together for a refreshing welcome drink, setting the tone for the delightful experiences ahead. Our first wine delight is a wine tasting at the esteemed Prgin Winery, a true Croatian gem nestled in the heart of the picturesque Primošten region. Surrounded by the stunning Adriatic coastline and lush vineyards, this family-owned winery prides itself on blending tradition with innovation. At Prgin, you'll discover a variety of exquisite wines crafted from indigenous grape varieties, reflecting the unique terroir of the region. The evening culminates with a sumptuous dinner at Konoba Dvor, set in the breathtakingly beautiful town of Primošten. Perched on a peninsula surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, Primošten is renowned for its stunning landscapes, charming stone streets, and vibrant Mediterranean ambiance.

Konoba Dvor itself is a testament to traditional Croatian dining. The word "konoba" refers to a traditional Croatian tavern, where local flavors are celebrated, and communal dining is embraced. At Konoba Dvor, you'll experience the essence of Croatian hospitality, enjoying an array of delicious local dishes crafted from the freshest ingredients. Day 2: August 19th 

Waterfalls, Wine, and Culinary Delights: A Day in Croatia's Paradise

Prepare to be amazed as we explore Krka National Park, one of Croatia's two national parks famous for its enchanting lakes and waterfalls. Frequently featured in travel videos, this park's beauty is truly mesmerizing. Stroll along walkways surrounded by lush vegetation and scenic views, taking in iconic sights like the stunning Skradinski Buk waterfall and the water mill worked on by Tesla. Our visit promises an unforgettable experience, showcasing the unspoiled beauty of Croatia.

Once we've worked up our appetites exploring the park, it's time to indulge in a meat lover's paradise at Konoba Vinko! This Michelin-recommended gem is renowned for its delicious treats that will tantalize your taste buds.

Our next wine adventure is tucked away in the idyllic village of Plastovo. The Sladić Winery stands as a testament to the artistry and devotion of Croatian winemaking. Here, amidst rolling vineyards and gentle hills, the Sladić family crafts wines that are nothing short of enchanting. From the delicate notes of their crisp whites to the robust character of their reds, each bottle is a masterpiece, a reflection of the rich terroir and centuries-old traditions of the region. But it is not just about the wine; it is about the experience. It is a place where every sip tells a story, and every moment is infused with the magic of Croatia.

We round out the day with a visit to the charming waterside town of Skradin, where Cantinetta awaits, offering a delightful culinary experience. Fresh local delights abound, from succulent seafood to vibrant produce, all highlighting the flavors of the region. We will pair our meal with more excellent local wines and soak in the relaxed atmosphere of this hidden gem.

Upon our return, there'll be ample time for a refreshing dip in the Adriatic Sea to reflect upon a stellar day in Croatia.

Day 3: August 20th

Sipping, Savory Delights, and Scenic Sights

Get ready to say goodbye to the picturesque Skradin area as we embark on our journey to Split – Croatia's vibrant coastal gem! Split, the country's second-largest city, awaits with its unique blend of charm and history. Picture this: a walking tour through the enchanting old town, nestled within the ancient walls of a Roman palace. Every corner holds a piece of history just waiting to be discovered. 

Next, we'll have the pleasure of being hosted by Ivana/Ivo, hailing from the lovely island of Hvar, where they proudly oversee the esteemed Vina Carić. We'll sip on their exquisite wines and indulge in the local seafood specialty, Brodet, accompanied by a selection of other delectable bites and a local spot in the heart of Split. 

After bidding farewell to Split, our journey southward begins. As we make our way towards the wine country, we'll make a delightful and mouthwatering pitstop at one of the charming roadside fruit stands, sampling the freshest local produce in Neretva, known as the agricultural breadbasket of Dalmatia. 

We'll then continue our scenic route to a winery nestled amidst the stunning landscapes of southern Croatia, where the Rižman Winery beckons us with its captivating charm and exceptional wines. Perched on rolling hills overlooking the Adriatic Sea, this picturesque winery offers not only exquisite wines but also breathtaking views that stretch as far as the eye can see. As you sip on their finely crafted wines, you'll be enchanted by the beauty of the surrounding vineyards and the shimmering azure waters beyond. Rižman Winery is more than just a place to enjoy wine; it's a sanctuary where nature's splendor meets the artistry of winemaking, creating an unforgettable experience for us to enjoy, sip by tasty sip. 

But that's not all! We'll pause for a photo op to admire the majestic Pelješac bridge and soak in the picturesque vistas of vineyards stretching to the sea. Finally, our journey leads us to the scenic coastal town of Orebić, our home for the next few days. 

We'll take a brief walk to our dinner destination, renowned for crafting some of the finest pizzas around. And if you've got room, there might even be a delightful gelato treat waiting for you!

Day 4: August 21st

Dingač Delights: Wine, Seafood, Sunshine and the Sea

Today is dedicated to exploring one of Croatia's most renowned wine regions, Dingač. Picture steep vineyards cascading down towards the azure Adriatic Sea, their vines basking in the warm embrace of the sun and the gentle reflection of the shimmering waters. These picturesque landscapes create the perfect conditions for grape cultivation, resulting in wines of unparalleled quality and flavor. Get ready to experience wine tunnels, some of the most extreme vineyards you have ever seen, and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Dingač as we delve into its rich viticultural heritage and savor the fruits of its sun-kissed vineyards.

While in Dingač, get ready for an unforgettable seafood feast at Agroturizam Braenovič, nestled by the sea amidst lush trees. Indulge in delectable Dalmatian seafood specialties like stewed octopus in red wine and black risotto, perfectly paired with wines crafted by the owner. After this delightful meal, we will take a leisurely stroll to one of the nearby stunning beaches for some sun and surf. Then, it's time to embrace the Croatian concept of "Fijaka" – relaxation and leisure – at the hotel. Later in the day, we will gather for an exclusive rendezvous at the Vicelić Winery. With ancient vineyards kissed by the Mediterranean sun, their wines reflect the region's rich terroir and tradition. From Plavac Mali to Posip, each sip tells a story of craftsmanship and connection to the land, with panoramic views of vineyards and the Adriatic Sea. So, get ready to sip and savor the essence of Dingač’s winemaking tradition.

Day 5: August 22nd

Oyster Odyssey & Dubrovnik Delights: A Culinary Road-Trip

Today, we will take a road trip to experience Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic, but before we do, we will make a stop at Mali Ston, a seaside village that is famed for its oysters and mussels. We will enjoy a ride on a boat along the pristine waters, taking in the famed walls and tall craggy mountains, where we will get a demo on oyster farming and production, a tradition that has been happening here since antiquity. The oysters here are so good, that even ancient Roman emperors used to put in delivery orders.

Then, we will take a drive along the beautiful coastal roads to Dubrovnik, where you will experience a project from Chef Richard Gruica on his “Sights and Bites” food and wine/history walking tour, where you will be expertly guided through a tasting of the Old Town of Dubrovnik by our Foodie/History Guide. Prepare to be seriously wowed by the city’s fairytale-like setting enjoying its shiny white limestone streets, and enchanting narrow alleyways all while you eat and drink your way through the Old Town.

Enjoy some free time after the foodie tour to explore Dubrovnik further on your own or for those who are more adventurous, you can tackle the famed walls of the Old Town as an optional add-on. Be prepared to take the BEST selfies ever! We will then make our way back to Orebic.

Day 6: August 23rd

Krazy for Korčula…Marco or Marko? A Day of History, Flavors, and Wines

On this occasion, we will embark on a car ferry, transporting us to one of the most renowned and loved islands of Croatia called Korčula, a place deeply intertwined with the heritage of Marco Polo, surprising us with his Croatian origins. Our exploration of Korčula commences with a guided tour of the city, strolling through its narrow streets steeped in history. Later, we will indulge in a remarkable dining experience at Eko-Škoj, an organic farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly practices. They specialize in producing high-quality olive oil, honey, and various seasonal fruits and vegetables. Get ready to experience the rich flavors of their handcrafted products over lunch while learning about traditional farming techniques and the importance of environmental stewardship. Our visit here is a delightful blend of taste and education, showcasing the best of Korčula's natural bounty.

Following this exquisite meal, we will proceed to one of the island's most prestigious wineries, where we will have the pleasure of indulging in a delightful wine tasting. Immerse yourself in the aromatic notes and rich heritage of Korčula's celebrated wines, savoring every sip. As our time in Korčula draws to a close, you will have some leisurely moments to explore, shop, and savor a personal culinary experience before meeting to board the ferry that will transport us back to our hotel.

Day 7: August 24th 

 Final Day: Makarska Beach Bliss and Farewell Feast

As we head back, we will stop in Makarska, one of Croatia's premier seaside destinations, to savor one last moment of relaxation along the pristine waters of the Adriatic. Enjoy some beach time, soaking in the sun and the stunning coastal scenery. 

Afterward, we will check into our luxurious 4-star resort, where you can unwind and reflect on the incredible journey we've had. In the evening, we will come together for a memorable farewell dinner, celebrating the end of our CRUSH’ing It in Croatia Tour with delicious food, delightful company, and cherished memories.
