This journey is curated by the founder of the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival for African Americans from the diaspora. We are seasoned travelers (36 countries and counting) and knowledgeable about the customs and cultures of West Africa. We have already been given land and Royal status in Ghana because of our work in the villages. Let us show you West Africa with an insider's view.
Our prime aim is to explore and reconnect you with the rich culture and heritage that we were denied for centuries. There are a lot of "tour guides" out their. Some good and some not so good. We've heard the horror stories and we are so sorry we can't do this more often with more people. But here is your chance! We promise a life changing adventure awaits! - Air Travel to GhanaFlights from USA to Accra, Ghana (Kotoka International Airport -ACC) are not included. We strongly recommend you book a direct flight from JFK in New York (Delta) or IAD in DC (United Air)
- Lunch & DinnerWelcome dinner and daily breakfast IS included on most days. Lunch and dinner is on your own.
- BeveragesBeverages are not included. Although water is available on most tours.
- Visa Application FeesAlthough assistance is provided. Fees are not. The cost is about $220 for all three countries.

This option is based on two people sharing a room each night in a hotel. If you don't have a roommate, no worries; book now to reserve your space! You will have time to find someone or upgrade to a single at a single rate.

Itinerary
Departure from the USA for 9.5 hours overnight flight to the Motherland.
Upon landing at Kotaka International Airport (ACC) in Accra, Ghana, the adventure begins with a scenic coastal ride to the Cape Coast region. We'll visit our friends for VIP treatment at the luxurious Lemon Beach Resort, where we'll have a welcome dinner (included), cocktails, and much-needed rest and adjustment to the time change.
