The course is set on a narrow peninsula and host to many major events including the first Irish Open in 1927 (including 8 more), the British Amateur Championship in 1949,  2019, the Walker Cup in 1991 and most recently the Women's British Open Amateur Championship. It will also be the host of the 2032 Open Championship, it will be the first time in history the championship leaves Great Britain.

About the course: 

The Royal Dublin Golf Club, established in 1885, is Ireland's third-oldest golf club, situated on Bull Island in Dublin Bay.  Royal Dublin has hosted the Irish Open six times, with notable winners like Seve Ballesteros in 1983 and 1985, and Bernhard Langer in 1984. 

Afternoon: 

Check in, Relax and unwind at the Portmarnock Links Hotel.  The resort features a luxurious hotel with rooms offering views of the ocean, gardens, or golf course. Enjoy a Jameson Whiskey Tasting Experience and expand your distillery knowledge.

About the course: 

The 18-hole championship links course was designed by Bernhard Langer and opened in 1995.  The course has hosted notable tournaments, including the 2008 and 2009 Ladies Irish Open and the 2021 Irish Challenge
