About this trip

 Welcome to We Travel!  We have chosen this site to make signing up and paying for The Journey into Awe Retreat convenient.   Please note that the price of this retreat is increasing to $3249.00 March 15th.  We would love to get you signed up before then so you can look forward to this inspiring retreat.  Check out our reviews and you will get an idea what other participants thought.  We look forward to meeting you in July!!!

What’s included

  • Our location
    High Camp is 320 pristine acres in the the high San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado. The property is surrounded by Forest Service land. High Camp is held as a conservation easement.
  • Meals and Snacks
    Healthy, Nourishing Meals and Snacks
  • Comfortable Accomodation
    High Camp Hut is a spacious, mountain lodge with 6 bedrooms. You will sleep in a comfortable bed with flannel sheets and a blanket. We also provide a towel and washcloth.
  • Guided Nature Walks
    Explore the landscape around the Hut with your instructors, taking in the forests, meadows and mountain vistas.
  • Guided Workshops
    Learn how awe can transform your perspective and why spending time in nature is vital for well-being.
  • Evening Activities
    Evenings spent connecting with others around the campfire or soaking in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub.

What’s not included

  • NO Wifi or Cell Service
    There is no WiFi at High Camp but we promise you a better connection!
  • Travel Insurance
    We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance in the unexpected event that you need to cancel.
  • Tips
    Our staff greatly appreciates your thoughtfulness. Cash or Venmo payments are accepted
  • Travel
    Getting to and from the retreat is your responsiblility. Once you are booked you will receive more information on transportation.

Journey into Awe
Deposit: $1,499

A 50% deposit is due at booking and is nonrefundable.  Final payment is due 45 days before the retreat..  Our standard policy is that all payments are nonrefundable.   However, in the event that you need to cancel, if we are able to fill your spot we may be able to provide a partial refund. Thank you for your understanding.  


 

All payments paid through WeTravel are non-refundable.

WeTravel recommends that you acquire travel insurance in case something goes wrong. To minimize any loss and to protect yourself during the trip, you can purchase travel insurance from World Nomads. High up in the mountains of Colorado, High Camp Hut is a two-story backcountry hut nestled into 320 acres of privately held land sitting in 2 million acres of San Juan National Forest. The hut sits at 11,000 feet above sea level in the San Juan National Forest, with views of Lizardhead, the Wilsons, and Sheep Mountain. Drive 15 miles from Telluride, CO, and access to the Hut is a short 2.5-mile hike, ski, jog, or bike from Hwy 145.

One of the most spectacular Hiking and Nature adventures! A trip back in time when your only baggage is your Day-pack. Pristine land and views only Mother Nature can provide. It was a true Great Escape into Nature. Highly recommend.

Everything about this experience was top notch and I couldn't recommend it more highly! High Camp Hut, Cindi, and our retreat leaders Florence and Sara were all outstanding. The setting of the property is truly beautiful, remote and awe-inspiring. It is the perfect space to retreat and reset. Deep in nature, stunning sunrise and sunset views, meadows filled with flowers, fantastic hikes, wildlife. I can't imagine a more perfect or peaceful setting. Sara, Florence, Cindi and the rest of the staff guided us through 3 magical days of deep growth, nature connection, self discovery and fun / challenging hikes. They were a continuous source of support, inspiration, strength, and mentorship. I was so inspired by all of the women who attended (whom I look forward to staying in touch with) and I can say that this experience changed my perspective and my life. Thank you! ❤️
