Central argentinean Cordoba is the perfect land for mountain bike. It’s the land of old Spanish Jesuit order “ranches” and small colonization churches. And it’s one of the most important regions of the country. Here we offer a great bike trip in springtime and winter season. We start in Cuchi Corral a spot chosen also by paragliders to use the great flying conditions. We cross lots of small water streams while going down towards San Marcos Sierras artisan’s old town. This dirt road is also well known in Cordoba and in Argentina, as the famous Rio Pinto mtb race is held here in may every year.
We cross the Sierras for the first time from La Cumbre to Candonga. And we cross them for a second time from La Falda to Rio Ceballos enjoying beautiful dirt roads, views, uphills and downhills.
