My husband &amp; I went on the Mystery Trip last week. It was so much fun! Kim did an excellent job planning the trip to Des Moines, IA. We got on the bus at 8:30AM &amp; saw many places of interest. We enjoyed the food at the restaurants she chose. Kim has such a fun personality &amp; entertained us as we traveled on the bus. Everything went smoothly because she coordinated everything so well. Looking forward to our next trip with her!

BRANSON Ozark Mountain Christmas

This was our first trip with Luverne’s Travel and our first time to Branson. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Kim did a great job keeping us all involved as a group, even on the bus! She’s very warm and friendly! It was great to have her daughter, Hazel, on the trip too! She’s just like her mother! Our bus driver, Perry, was excellent also! Kept us on time for everything!

Our parents had 1 thing left on there bucket list! They wanted all there kids and spouses to go to Branson!  We all worked out some time off at work and made this happen! Thank you to Laverne’s travel.  We all had a great time and definitely more memories were made❤️

This was my first bus tour. I found it to be well organized , timely,  and very carefree having it all taken care of for us. . Our bus driver Andy was always prompt and helpful with our luggage. Our leader Kim was a very calming influence . Explained each plan for the day and had a lovely personality! Fellow passengers were so respectful of each other. We saw so many states and the tours of  New York City and Boston  were a special  highlight. Highly recommend. 

New England Fall Color Tour

We had a great time Lavernes travel did a great job.Kim was very pleasant and informative and fun would go with Lavernes again Maybe could have picked little different choice for movie considering all the different back grounds of people but had a very good time thanks

I would give a better review if the hotels that she selected would have a choice of dinner venues. There were at least four days that we were given barely existent dinner menus. No restaurants within walking distance either.  Kim, of course, did not join us to experience these problems. 

Trip was really good, seen lots, guides were very good.  First time bus trip and will go again.

Beautiful scenery, loved gondola ride lunch at hotel was scrumptious, outdoors was beautiful,          Would like to have a list of passengers traveling.

Canadian Rockies by Amtrak and Motorcoach

Great balance of seeing the big "must do's" as a group with personal time. Fantastic agenda! It was a blessing in disquise to take a coach bus rather than Amtrak out to Kalispell MT because the games, seat movement and more on the bus led to building friendships before the big sight seeing began. Taking the Amtrak back was beautiful and enough to "experience the train." We'd highly recommend to others to go on this Canadian Rockies trip with LaVerne's Travel.

We had a great time! Wonderful food and  we’ve met a lot of nice people on the tour! The tour was well planned! Will defiantly do it again.

It was a fun trip, had a great time. will go next year!!

We had a great time! You were right, and we should have rode coach on Amtrak instead of in a roomette. We are glad that we did not have to ride Amtrak on our way out to Glacier as it is not conducive to sleep and we would have been tired when we got to Montana. Most of the hotels were wonderful on this trip. Our favorite stop was Waterton but we wish that we had known about the 4 pm sightseeing cruise on the lake. Maybe that could be included in the tour next time? Of course  Going To The Sun Road was beautiful, Banff was also wonderful, and the Icefields. We would have liked to have more time in the evenings to be able to explore Banff. Hazel did an excellent job. Thanks for an awesome trip.

I enjoyed this trip a lot--my first mystery tour!  There was a variety of activities, and several meals included, which was a pleasant surprise.  My only disappointment was a loooong ride home from Duluth:  the buses seemed to be taking a crazy route, zig-zagging thru country roads, rather than a more direct path--didn't make sense to me!
Another sore spot was being unable to hear the captain's narration on the Apostle Island boat tour, due to rude, disrespectful passengers, who were more interested in talking!  Not the fault of the trip planners/tour hosts, but a disappointment anyway.
I will certainly travel with Laverne's travel again!

I enjoyed the whole trip. Food places were excellent. The sites we toured were very good. I'm anxious to go on this trip in 2026.

It was a very interesting trip and a lot of fun learning about Ashland and Bayfield, WI, and the Apostle Islands.  LaVern's Travel did and outstanding job at finding all the events and places to see in these two small towns.  

Laverne travels is the best. Bus driver and host's are great and so helpful. I highly recommend them for your next tour.

The Fall Mystery trip was wonderful!  Lots of laughter and fun. 

We had a great time. The weather didn't always cooperate but it wasn't bad. Met so many nice people. The planning was good. My only complaint was no elevator at the hotel. 



Had a great time! Loved Mackinac Island and having lunch at the Grand Hotel.  Many thanks to Kim for an enjoyable trip!

Mackinac Island/Frankenmuth Summer Tour!

W had a great time. The accommodations were top notch.  Everything went smoothly and there was no waiting for anything!  Kim was a fantastic planner and guide. Already planning our next LaVerne trip!

I’m writing on behalf of my mom and dad, who had a wonderful trip filled with new and exciting experiences they hadn’t encountered in their 80 years. Thank you to the entire team for making their vacation so memorable and special. Your help truly made a difference, and I appreciate all the effort that went into planning such a fantastic time for them.

It was a good time.  Well planned.  Enjoyed it.

Trip was well planned.  There were a few hiccups, but handled fairly well.  There was a variety of stops.  The winery evening was by far the highlight. Wished we could have stayed longer on such a beautiful night. 

12th Spring Mystery Trip - 4 seats just opened up!!!!

The mystery trip kept us busy everyday with fun new adventures. It was nice to reconnect with friends we had met on a previous trip. I would definitely do it again. Kim does a great job!!

 Traveled with my book club buddies and we all had a great time! Have already signed up for the next spring Mystery Tour!

We had a great time! We traveled together with 2 others from our church. There were very nice, fun people on this trip. The bus was quite new and rode great. We had a very good bus driver also. The hotel accommodations we stayed at were very good. The food was very good. Our trip leader, Kim did a great job keeping us informed, laughing and entertained during the long, 805 mile trip to Noah’s Ark in KY.  Frequent breaks / bus stops were well planned out and very timely. This was a 4-day trip. However, a suggestion that was pretty much unanimous among us is that another day be added to this trip - because there is so much to see and read. Another suggestion is that people with handicaps had to walk a long, long way to and from the Creation Museum on the 3rd day - as none of the rental electrical scooters were taken out of storage yet. This was a slight downside for my travel companion and for some of the other travelers on such a wonderful trip. Overall, the Noah’s Ark replica was an amazing sight to see and to experience. A rental electric scooter proved to be a Godsend for my travel companion inside the Ark, instead of the nearly 3 hours required of normal walking. Overall, this was an excellent trip and we would highly  recommend it, and our leader Kim to other travelers. She made the trip a lot of fun.

Noah's Ark and Creation Museum

I had a great time. Kim makes travel easy and a lot of fun!

once a year my sister Linda and i go on a bus trip this year we chose the mystery trip it was exciting not knowing where we were going what we would eat see or sleep it was a lovely mixture of things history museums gardens tours of the city and we always has something interesting to eat Rebecca and brent our guide and the bus driver were wonderful and treated us like family
Kim and Laverne were very entertaining and kept us laughing i heart Laverne's travel and recommend it to all my friends 

I had no idea what to expect on the Mystery Bus Trip- it was great! Taking a two night, three day trip that I didn’t plan and I was surprised every day- was so fun! It was fun meeting other people. Kim did a great job- really well spoken, kept us as informed as we needed to be, and she was fun! Happy that LaVerne was there as well-our “complaint department”! I won’t give away any secrets, but if you have dietary restrictions, ask about options. Consider bringing food. Our stops were frequent enough and fun. Our bus drivers were great! Our hotel was very nice. Highly recommend!!

The whole trip went smooth and was so organized. We met so many great people and hooked up with friends from the fall trip. I would like to see a dinner show sometime.


I was a first time mystery tripper, had no idea if I would like not knowing what is going on, but I had a fantastic time. I enjoyed the venues we saw and even ate Chinese food for the first time! I did not know that Des Moines Iowa was such an interesting city , really liked our tour through town. I think everyone did a good job planning it. Look forward to more mystery trips. We had a great time. All was explained very well. We did the Ark first and I would recommend the Ark before the Creation Museum. Creation Museum was very interesting, a lot of reading and since we did the Ark we were able to move quickly through the Museum' Ark section.
The Ark has animated responses to questions, animal sounds, etc.     
The motel accommodations were good, especially the Drury hotel we stayed at.             April  2025.

The trip was lots of fun! Bus was comfortable and the rooms were great! Kim was a great hostess with fun games and movies on the bus to help pass the time. The comfort stops every 3-4 hours were very nice and much appreciated. 

We had a wonderful time.  Great itinerary, with adequate time to spend at each location.  The accommodations were exceptional, especially the Drury Inn.  The people were friendly and the tour guide was outstanding!  We would definitely travel with LaVerne’s Travel again, and our friends have already booked a trip because of our recommendation!!


Very educational.  A lot of walking which was good  after such a long bus ride. The ride down and back could of had a short tour stop  so you could get more exercise while on the bus.  I would of been fine getting to our hotel at 8 PM instead of 7 pm.  Not much to do from 7 until bedtime at the hotel location.  Was to far to walk in the cold wind. 

Our experience with Laverne's Travel was an exceptional one! The Noah's Ark and Creation Museum was amazing. Our accommodations were top rated. Our host Kim Bzdok was delightful! Looking forward to traveling  with this company again. Highly recommend this trip if offered again.

New England Fall Color Tour, 2024 - 4 Seats Just opened up!

We enjoyed our 11 day trip. Kim and Brent kept us busy with amazing sites and wonderful experiences. The other travelers were all kind and courteous, especially considering that there were 50 plus people on board. We loved that our on-bus tour guides showed just how much they love their cities.

We enjoyed this trip! We appreciate being taken care of so well and not having to drive! We felt very safe and as comfortable as you can be on a bus 😁! The sites and excursions included were exactly what we wanted to see! Kim has things well organized! Kudos to our bus driver, Brent! Navigating Boston and New York - WOW! Thank you!
