The Uco Valley is the most wealthy and sophisticated wine region in Mendoza. Developed in 2000, it has some iconic wineries such as Salentein Winery, Andeluna Cellars Sophenia, etc.
It is not only about the wineries! The vineyards are also at higher elevations, and the wines taste really different than in Lujan, making this a really great experience for your Argentine wine experience.
We visit three wineries and have lunch at one of them, if you have in mind you would love to visit, don't hesitate and let us check if we can include it in the tour.
The trip includes driving through “Los Cerrillo's route”, some hills on our way from Mendoza, getting us to the Uco Valley oasis, and getting to know the “productive corridor”, a highly productive region, producing fruits and vegetables for exportation and also shipping those to other parts of Argentina.
The views are lovely, and also you will get to see the Andes mountains closer and in a wider view from this part of Mendoza.
