Today, enjoy the Birnam Highland Games, a traditional Scottish Highland games, where they've been held annually since 1864, amidst stunning Perthshire scenery.  There are plenty of events, games and performances throughout the day including highland dancing, track and field events, heavy events such as tossing the caber, piping and even a haggis eating competition.

Today we will head north, visiting Blair Castle and Gardens along the way. This stunning castle is the ancestral home of the Murray Clan, and was the historical seat of the Duke of Atholl. Next, you will enjoy a tour and a wee dram at Scotland’s highest distillery, Dalwhinnie. Our next visit will be to Culloden Battlefield, fought in 1746 this was the last battle fought in the British Isles and one that changed the face of the Highlands forever. We then continue towards Clava Cairns, but not before a picture stop at the impressive Culloden Viaduct. We will step back in time with a guided tour of Clava Cairns standing stones. Over 4000 years old, these stones were the inspiration for Outlander. Tonight, we'll experience a traditional Scottish meal, while enjoying the songs of Rabbie Burns.

Today, we traverse to the magical Isle of Skye, making stops along the way. First, we will visit the famous Loch Ness, where you might spot its famous resident, Nessie. Afterward we will continue our journey through the stunning landscape of Glen Shiel, as we make our way toward one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, Eilean Donan Castle, where you will enjoy exploring its history. Then, we take the bridge from the mainland to the Isle of Skye.

Today we explore this magical island. In the morning, we explore the north end of Skye, with visits to some of Skye’s most iconic sites including, Old Man of Storr, Lealt Falls, Kilt Rock, and the Museum of Island Life. In the afternoon, we will visit Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, the seat of the Macleod chief of the Clan MacLeod for over 800 years.  We will continue exploring the island on the way back to your accommodation for the evening in Portree, the administrative capital of Skye.

Today we leave Skye for the beautiful seaside town of Oban. We begin our day taking the short ferry to Mallaig. Our next stop will be Glenfinnan Viaduct, famous for its appearance in the Harry Potter films, the viaduct offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Situated just across the road from the viaduct is Glenfinnan Monument, commemorating the Jacobite Rising of 1745, set on the shores of Loch Shiel. The visitor centre offers insights into the area’s history. We will then continue to the town of Fort William, situated just below the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. As we continue to Oban, we are awed by the stunning Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most scenic valleys, where you will also learn about the infamous “Massacre of Glencoe".

Today we leave Oban, journeying through the breathtaking landscapes of the Highland Perthshire, as we head toward Edinburgh. In Edinburgh, we visit Stirling Castle, which sits proudly on a volcanic crag, one of the most important and historic castles in Scotland. We conclude our journey at the magnificent Kelpies, a tribute to Scotland's Clydesdale horses.

We begin our day exploring the majestic Holyrood Palace, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. Later we visit to the renowned Edinburgh Castle, a 900-year-old fortress strikingly positioned on Castle Rock, offering sweeping views of the entire city. This stronghold served as the residence of Scottish royalty for centuries. Afterward, we'll be embarking on a fascinating tour of an infamous Edinburgh Close, hidden subterranean streets from the 17th century, frozen in time beneath The Royal Mile.
