Trip Cancellations
If Participant cancels the trip due to any personal reason, the following penalties will be applied:
Cancellation 89 to 45 calendar days before departure - up to 50% of the trip cost, including registration deposit
Cancellation 44 to 0 calendar days before departure – non-refundable
TRAVEL INSURANCE covering trip cancellations for medical reasons is very recommended, and participants are responsible for having the proper coverage. The travel insurance has to be purchased BEFORE departure.

Itinerary
9:30 - After breakfast, meet at the hotel with your local guide and driver.
Head to the Equator or Latitude 0, located 22 km north of Quito.
In the beginning, you will immerse yourself in the history of the ancient pre-Inca civilizations who inhabited this region long before the Europeans came here.
You will find out why the Equator was considered a sacred place. And you will have a chance to make your experiments and observe unique physical phenomena that can only be seen at Latitude 0. Learn the scientific explanation for these phenomena.
Then we will proceed to explore the colonial streets and highlights of Oldtown Quito, which UNESCO recognizes as a world cultural heritage.
Drive up to the "Panecillo de St. Virgen", a remarkable hill in the middle of OldTown.
Return to hotel around 4-5 PM.
