We will enjoy breakfast at our hotel prior to our driver/guide picking us up and transferring us to Milford Wharf.

On arrival at the Milford Wharf, board your Real NZ vessel for your cruise of Milford Sound. The cruise takes in the length of Milford Sound, and offers excellent viewing of waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife.

After the excursion, transfer back to Queenstown

If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground there are multiple hiking opportunities, scenic cruises and food/wine tours. It will be so hard to decide what to chose!

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your driver and journey deep into the Southern Alps from Queenstown to Mount Cook. Pass through the historic gold mining district of the rugged and the famous Kawarau River Gorge fruit growing region of Cromwell. Skirting the shores of Lake Dunstan, your tour crosses the Lindis Pass into Omarama. Continue through the rugged high country landscape of the Mackenzie Basin to arrive at Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, home to Australasia’s highest mountain at 3,724 metres. 

Depart Mt Cook and continue travel to Christchurch and the hotel for check-in. The balance of the day is at your leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel. You will transfer to Christchurch train station on private coach to board the TranzAlpine train! Our journey begins as we head out through the majestic Canterbury Plains towards the Southern Alps onto Arthurs Pass. This spectacular train journey dated back to 1914 and is rated as one of the world's most scenic train trips. The train forges through tunnels and over viaducts with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, icy rivers, beech forests, gorges and river valleys. 

From your carriage you’ll see the fields of the Canterbury Plains, beautiful gorges and river valleys of the Waimakariri River. Arrive at Arthur's Pass Station where you have some time at your leisure. Lunch is included at local café/restaurant.

From Arthur’s Pass, you will travel back to Christchurch and have a farm visit to see a real working farm and also sheep shearing demonstration before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our domestic flight to Auckland.

Arrive Auckland and the rest of the day is at leisure.
