Pick up 7:00 from La Paz Airport and travel to Titicaca (3 hours)

Arrive to town at noon, just in time to taste a delicious traditional lunch and then go by boat to “Isla del Sol”. Walk on the Inca Stairway and drink water directly from the Fountain of Eternal Youth, then night stay at a local hostel on top of sun island where both parts of the lake will be seen.

Recojo a las 7:00 desde el Aeropuerto de La Paz y viajo directamente a Titicaca. (3 horas).

Llegaremos al pueblo al mediodía, justo a tiempo para degustar un delicioso almuerzo tradicional y luego tomar un barco hacia la "Isla del Sol". Caminaremos por la Escalera Inca y beberemos agua directamente de la Fuente de la Eterna Juventud. Pasaremos la noche en un albergue local en la cima de la Isla del Sol, desde donde se podrán ver ambas partes del lago. 

La cena y el descanso serán en la Isla del Sol.

After breakfast , take a walk to visit Pilcocaina Temple, take magnificent photographs of the lake from a different perspective, then head back to Copacabana by boat. There , visit Copacabana´s temple before having lunch, then return to La Paz city.

9:30 Visit TIWANAKU, a Pre-Columbian archaeological site in western Bolivia near Lake Titicaca and one of the largest sites in South America not to mention one of the oldest. The Surface remains currently covered with an area of around 4 square kilometers and include decorated ceramics, monumental structures, and megalithic blocks.

The site's population probably peaked around 10,000 to 20,000 people 15,000 years ago.
 

Beginning with a visit to the Ceramic and Lithic museums, you can visit the ancient and enigmatic archaeological ruins such as: Gate of the Sun, Kalasasaya Temple, The Semi-Subterranean Temple with nailed heads, Monoliths, the megalithic and mysterious ancient ruins of Puma Punku and other religious enclosures. 

Lunch near the site and way back to La Paz.

Transfer to Bus terminal to catch the 21:30 bus to Uyuni. Arrives 6:00 Day 6.

9:30 Visita a TIWANAKU, un sitio arqueológico precolombino en el oeste de Bolivia cerca del lago Titicaca y uno de los sitios más grandes de América del Sur, además de uno de los más antiguos. Los restos en la superficie actualmente cubren un área de alrededor de 4 kilómetros cuadrados e incluyen cerámicas decoradas, estructuras monumentales y bloques megalíticos.

La población del sitio probablemente alcanzó su punto máximo alrededor de 10,000 a 20,000 personas hace 15,000 años.

Comenzando con una visita a los museos de cerámica y líticos, podrás explorar las antiguas y enigmáticas ruinas arqueológicas como: la Puerta del Sol, el Templo de Kalasasaya, el Templo Semi-Soterrado con cabezas clavadas, los Monolitos, las ruinas megalíticas y misteriosas de Puma Punku y otros recintos religiosos.

Almuerzo cerca del sitio y regreso a La Paz.

Traslado a la terminal de autobuses para tomar el autobús a Uyuni a las 21:30. Llega a las 6:00 del Día 6.

Your journey will start at 10:30 a.m. The first stop will be the fascinating "Train Cemetery" in Uyuni, where you can admire the first locomotives that arrived in Bolivia. Next, you’ll visit the small settlement of Colchani, known for its salt miner workshops located next to the stunning salt flats. Here, you can explore crafts made from salt and marvel at the textiles created from llama and alpaca fibers.

The trip will continue to the vast Salar de Uyuni, which sits at an altitude of 3,650 meters above sea level. Don’t forget to snap some amazing photos while you navigate through this magnificent expanse of salt! During the visit, you’ll get to see the unique "Salt Water Eyes" and explore a hotel entirely made of salt, which currently serves as a museum.

After a morning full of discoveries, you’ll enjoy lunch before heading to "Isla Incahuasi" (also known as Fish Island). Here, you’ll have time for a hike to the top, where you can take in the sight of giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. Make sure to take some fun photos playing with perspective and proportions against the backdrop of the sparkling salt surface.

Finally, you’ll arrive at the village of Villa Candelaria, where you’ll have the chance to spend the night in a hotel almost completely made of salt, called "La Escondida." This accommodation offers double and triple rooms.

Rainy season (January to April): During these months, due to lack of access to the Salt Lodge, lodging will be provided in Culpina or other nearby locations.

Su recorrido comenzará a las 10:30 a.m. La primera parada será el fascinante "Cementerio de Trenes" de Uyuni, donde podrá admirar las primeras locomotoras que llegaron a Bolivia. A continuación, visitará el pequeño asentamiento de Colchani, conocido por sus talleres de mineros de sal, que se encuentran junto a las impresionantes salinas. En este lugar, podrá explorar artesanías elaboradas con sal y maravillarse con el arte textil confeccionado a partir de fibra de llama y alpaca.

El viaje continuará hacia el vasto Salar de Uyuni, situado a una altitud de 3,650 metros sobre el nivel del mar. ¡No olvide capturar increíbles fotografías mientras navega por la inmensidad de esta blanca extensión de sal! Durante la visita, podrá observar los singulares "Ojos de Agua Salada" y explorar un hotel totalmente construido de sal, que actualmente funciona como museo.

Después de una mañana llena de descubrimientos, disfrutará de un almuerzo antes de continuar hacia la "Isla Incahuasi" (también conocida como Isla del Pescado). Aquí tendrá tiempo para realizar una caminata hasta la cima, donde podrá contemplar gigantescos cactus y formaciones rocosas de coral petrificado. No se pierda la oportunidad de posar para divertidas fotos jugando con la perspectiva y las proporciones, con el impresionante fondo de la brillante superficie salina.

Finalmente, llegará al pueblo de Villa Candelaria, donde tendrá la oportunidad de pasar la noche en un hotel casi totalmente construido de sal, denominado "La Escondida". Este alojamiento ofrece habitaciones dobles y triples. 

Temporada de lluvias (de enero a abril): En estos meses, debido a la falta de acceso al Albergue de la Sal, se proporcionará alojamiento en Culpina u otras localidades cercanas.

Start the morning off at 7:00 am with breakfast, before going to visit the Chiguana Desert, located on the south side of the Uyuni salt flats. It is surrounded by volcanoes, such as the Ollague Volcano (5840m), one that is still active, and that can be seen from the lookout. 
 
Next, we’ll continue along a rocky road to the beautiful Andean lagoons, inhabited by 3 species of Andean flamingos. Marvel at three lagoons on the way: ‘Cañapa’ where you’ll spot the first pink flamingos, ‘Hedionda’ where lunch will be served, and ‘Chiarcota’ where you’ll see a wider variety of birds and altiplanic fauna. 
 
We’ll then enter the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, and visit the Desert of Siloli, at 4550m (the highest and driest desert in the world). Make sure you take a photo next to the 'Rock tree', a lava rock formation. Before arriving to your final destination of the day, we will stop at the view point by the Red Lagoon, where you can spot more pink flamingos in their natural habitat, and admire this intense, red-coloured lake. Stay the night at a shared family lodging, "HUAYLLAJARA".

Empieza la mañana a las 7:00 am con el desayuno, antes de ir a visitar el desierto de Chiguana, que está al sur del salar de Uyuni. Está rodeado de volcanes, como el volcán Ollague (5840m), que todavía está activo y se puede ver desde el mirador.

Luego, continuaremos por un camino rocoso hacia las hermosas lagunas andinas, habitadas por 3 especies de flamencos andinos. Maravíllate con tres lagunas en el camino: ‘Cañapa’ donde verás los primeros flamencos rosas, ‘Hedionda’ donde se servirá el almuerzo, y ‘Chiarcota’ donde verás una mayor variedad de aves y fauna altiplánica.

Después, entraremos a la Reserva Nacional Eduardo Avaroa y visitaremos el desierto de Siloli, a 4550m (el desierto más alto y seco del mundo). Asegúrate de tomarte una foto junto al 'Árbol de roca', una formación de lava. Antes de llegar a tu destino final del día, haremos una parada en el mirador de la Laguna Roja, donde podrás ver más flamencos rosas en su hábitat natural y admirar este intenso lago color rojo. Pasarás la noche en alojamiento familiar compartido, "HUAYLLAJARA".

At 5 a.m. Have early breakfast. Later start with a visit to Sol de Mañana Geyser, at 5,000m. You’ll walk alongside fumaroles, and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cº. Continue to the open air hot springs, and take a bath in 35ºC water.
 
The first place to visit is the Dali Desert, where Salvador Dali found inspiration for his work from the scattered boulders in the middle of the desert. You’ll then see the Green Lagoon - toxic copper water at the foot of the big Licancabur volcano, which sits at 6000m, a few kilometers from the Bolivia-Chile border. 
 
Finally, you’ll head back to Uyuni, passing beautiful scenery along the way, and eating a picnic lunch next to the roadside. You’ll go by the Valley of the Rocks, the Alota settlement, and the San Cristobal Village.
 
We’ll get back to Uyuni by 6:30 pm.

A las 5 a.m. Tendrás un desayuno temprano. Luego comenzarás con una visita al Geyser Sol de Mañana, a 5,000m. Caminarás junto a fumarolas y cráteres humeantes llenos de ollas de barro hirviendo a 150-200 ºC. Continuarás hacia las aguas termales al aire libre y te darás un baño en agua a 35 ºC.

El primer lugar que visitarás es el Desierto de Dali, donde Salvador Dalí encontró inspiración para su obra en las rocas dispersas en medio del desierto. Luego verás la Laguna Verde, un agua tóxica de cobre al pie del gran volcán Licancabur, que se encuentra a 6000m, a unos kilómetros de la frontera entre Bolivia y Chile.

Finalmente, regresarás a Uyuni, pasando por paisajes hermosos en el camino y comiendo un almuerzo tipo picnic al lado de la carretera. Pasarás por el Valle de las Rocas, el asentamiento Alota y el pueblo de San Cristóbal.

Regresaremos a Uyuni alrededor de las 6:30 pm.
