Looking for some adventure diving in Texas?
Want a short weekend trip to dive with friends in a missile silo? Yes, in a missile silo!
Join Dive West and Sandi Zoch for a unique experience in diving, Valhalla Missile Silo, a decommissioned and diveable Atlas-F thermonuclear intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) silo. It was commissioned in 1955 as part of 12 silos making up the Dyess AFB missile complex near Abilene, TX.
You must have your Advanced Open Water certification. This is an altitude dive, set your computer accordingly, or better yet get the Altitude cert! The water temperature is between 60-65 F, plan for adequate exposure protection.
Valhalla entry fees for 3 days. Weights and tank for your diving (pick up at Dive West).
