About this trip

Come on a ONCE. IN. A LIFETIME. trip to Guatemala! Come hike the volcanoes of Antigua, learn about Mayan culture and relax on Lake Atitlan,  visit a local coffee farm and have lunch at the farmer's house, and try foods you've never had before at the Guatemala City market.

This isn't a vegan trip that just feels like a "retreat" where we're not doing anything authentic to the location and just eating the same foods we eat at home. We'll be trying local foods authentic to Guatemala. It's a culture focused trip that just happens to be vegan.

I also only work with locally owned hotels and businesses to support the local community and create an authentic experience for the travelers.

Guatemala is truly one of my favorite countries I've ever been to and I can't wait to take you there!

Anna was so welcoming and planned everything out so thoughtfully out so that we could connect with the local culture in a very intentional way, down to the minuscule details and I doubt I would have been able to explore Guatemala in the same way had I not joined this group trip with Anna. I highly recommend joining her on a trip as it is an exciting and unique opportunity to join others with similar values on an incredible experience.

It was such a vibe, and although it went by fast, I cherished every moment of it! Anna's trips have the perfect blend of walking history tours with delicious local vegan food sampling and free time to unwind. Her deep investment in local & indigenous communities makes her so adored everyone whose path she crossed in Guatemala. Her trips likewise attract some of the most wholesome and inspiring people whom I had the pleasure of meeting :)

We had an amazing time on this trip! The group was full of wonderful people, and the overall experience was truly memorable. The food was delicious, and it was such a relief not having to think about what to eat since everything was already vegan. The accommodations were comfortable & GORGEOUS, and I really appreciated that we stayed in boutique hotels that supported local businesses. I also loved that our trip directly contributed to local communities—supporting over 40 businesses and portion of proceeds donated to help fund education for Guatemalan locals. The tours, from making tortillas to visiting a coffee farm and a chocolate workshop, were so fun and immersive. The boat rides on Lake Atitlán were stunning, and Antigua was absolutely breathtaking—I could see myself living there! (The hike was much harder than expected. While we all made it (ha), it would have been good to have a clearer difficulty rating, especially for those with asthma or other concerns. We all would've still came though, just nice to know for mental & physical preparation 👌🏽) Overall, this trip was an unforgettable experience! The mix of cultural immersion, ethical travel, and great company made it so special. I made amazing friends, and I’ll always cherish the memories. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful adventure! Loved everyone I met, thank you for showing me around Guatemala! ♥️

This was our second trip with Anna, and the experience was phenomenal. Perfect blend of fun and education. We left with a deeper appreciation of the Guatemalan culture. Can't say enough about Anna's abilities to put together seamless trips and handle unexpected situations. She is simply amazing. Looking forward to more trips with her!

This was a really fun trip, where we got to explore various parts of Guatemala and learn a lot about the history and culture of the Mayan people. It was great to learn about preservation efforts for various culture practices like weaving and traditional farming. The people Anna attracts for group trips also make the experience extra special. I would recommend trips Anna runs to anyone exploring group travel options!

I just finished my first trip with Anna, Greece 2024, it was amazing. I knew I would have fun, make memories and eat delicious food, I mean that's what life is all about, right!?! What I didn't expect is how much this trip would impact me in so many ways. I met the most beautiful like minded people, we shared endless laughs and stories, we bonded over shared vegan experiences, travel stories, life events and drinks!! In 8 days we went from complete strangers to what I hope will be lifelong friends. I left feeling refreshed, inspired and fulfilled. Anna herself is a…I'm seriously having trouble putting it in words…she's more than meets the eye, she's beautiful inside and out, she's fun, smart, thoughtful and has a great sense of humor! Simply put, I adore her! But maybe I just got lucky, I left this trip with so much love for everyone I had the pleasure of spending the week with. It was as though she had picked a group of like minded people she knew would vibe perfectly. As far as the actual trip Anna planned, I loved that too!! We had amazing food at some wonderful places. We danced, we drank, we saw stunning sights and learned a lot about the rich history of Greece. Anna did a wonderful job planning this once in a lifetime experience for us and I have no doubt in my mind her trips will somehow continue to improve. I enjoyed this experience so much that I'm not even home from Greece and I'm looking into booking Guatemala with her in December! TLDR; would I recommend a trip with Anna, absolutely!!
