Venice is famous for its beautiful location, its architecture and its work of art. The entire town is recorded as a Unesco World Heritage along with its lagoon. Venice is truly a photographer’s paradise with fabulous images to be captured at every corner. Join us for a captivating 4 day, 3 night workshop where we will photograph one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Our small group size allows for more quality time to be spent with each person and to help with whatever aspect of photography one wishes to improve. 

We are staying in an art-hotel located in a picturesque 17th-century building on the canal of Palazzo Ducal, only a 2 minute walk from St. Mark's square, in the heart of Venice. We will move around the city by foot and water bus, leaving early in the morning to capture the best light and morning mist. We will then return to our hotel for an inviting breakfast buffet and allow for time to rest. During the day, we will demonstrate and discuss shooting and processing techniques, share images, and venture out for some street photography. In the evening, we will explore more of Venice's beauty, enjoy the delicious Italian food and wine in wonderful restaurants, and complete the night with a captivating sunset and blue hour shoot. 

During our workshop we will talk about workflow, composition, the best use of filters such as polarizers, neutral density and grads, exposures, how to read and interpret histograms, focusing methods, bracketing and much more. In our post processing sessions we will demonstrate our workflow, share images, and work together to learn from each other. Our small group setup gives everyone the opportunity to reach his or her photography goals and objectives. Our tours are always fun and allow for plenty of room for individualism and creativity.
