About this trip
This year, we’re headed to the heart of all things cosy and Christmas-y! We’ll meet in Vienna to enjoy four nights in Austria. Imagine the prettiest Christmas markets, walking under delicate strands of Christmas lights in the historic centre and having warm meals around big tables with new friends. Oh, and apple struedel. ;)
From there, we will trek together to Prague! It seems criminal to be that close to such an incredible city and not seize the opportunity to enjoy it. We’ll stay by the historic city centre, enjoy pretty strolls along the Charles Bridge,, do a walking tour and nibble our way through the large Christmas market in the city centre.
This trip will be a sweet time to do a relaxed trip around these snowy destinations. Every day, you can expect something wonderful to see, something special to do and some plate of something really delicious to eat. You’ll also have time each day to get out on your own for shopping, additional sites or just a leisurely nap in your bathrobe at the hotel.
Christmas markets in Europe will be what brings you on this trip- but the great women on the trip will be what you want to stay for by the end! :)
TRIP ITINERARY
As this ladies trip has come together quickly with the discovery of great fares to Vienna for this week, the itinerary is still being put together. But I don’t want to wait and fares go up, so let’s put the cart before the horse a bit. You’re just gonna have to trust me.
Here’s what I’m aiming to include in the final itinerary:
-4 nights in Vienna Austrian cooking class -Christmas candlelight concert -Vienna Christmas market -Visit to Schonbrunn Palace -Day trip to Salzburg -Bus drive to Prague! -2 nights in Prague -Prague Christmas markets
This is a bit of a trust fall into my years of planning trips, and really for the traveler who just wants to come on a great trip and not worry about the details. The details will be GREAT. I’m just a few steps behind on what they will be at this exact moment.
Please note:
You will need to book a multi-city flight arriving to Vienna by around 10:30am on the 8th and departing from Prague anytime on the 14th.
