The Waiting to Exhale Retreat was created to provide a safe, healing environment where women can come together to share life experiences and learn how to manifest, empower and heal through the support of other caring women. Whatever our past experiences have been, our empowerment comes from transforming the pain that we have experienced and activating our inherent self-healing capacities and role as women. Hosted by Ambassador Dr. Chanita Foster, this retreat will awaken you to a new understanding about your capacity to love, experience, feel, heal and create. Inhale, Exhale, Excel.
During the retreat, we will focus on recognizing, transforming and healing negative and self-defeating patterns and behavior resulting from various forms of trauma. Learn how to release resentment, guilt, shame and grief in healthy ways that lead to genuine forgiveness. We will work to establish a supportive community of sisterhood that will provide encouragement and inspiration long after the retreat ends. Each day will include opportunities for improvement and mindfulness, including meditation and coaching. Group sessions will center upon themes such as gratitude, mindfulness, reflection and goal setting.
Through the depth of support and guidance offered, you will be well nourished, allowing your mind, body and spirit to relax and release in a growing sense of safety within. Getting to know what liberates you, you will learn and create intentions and plans to continue the practices after the create as you awaken true healing on your path to personal freedom.
