The groups that we’ve led on the Camino have started in Pamplona, near the start of the Spanish Camino, or along the coastal route in Portugal, starting in Porto. Now we’ll be taking a group along a new section, starting in Sarria and finishing in Santiago de Compostela. Why? First, it is lovely walking in Galicia and far different than other parts of the Camino in Spain. Instead of vineyards and winter wheat, on this part of the Camino you’ll be walking through green pastures and dairy cows. And second, this route will bring us to Santiago, the traditional finish point for the Camino (and also a beautiful city).
On this trip we will stay in hotels directly on the Camino path as it covers the last 100+ km to Santiago. Each day your guides will lead you across some incredible countryside, stopping for coffee and a generous picnic lunch. We will spend each night in towns and small cities with each hotel providing private rooms with en suite bathrooms. And after a hot shower and a rest, we’ll settle into an enjoyable Spanish dinner.
Your bags, of course, will be transported by our van. You can also catch a ride in the van yourself if your energy wanes.
For over 1,000 years pilgrims have been walking the Camino, and now you can, too. We’ll take care of the logistics so you can focus on your walking and the scenery around you.
Take a single room at each of the hotels.
